Chapter six, John, you'll remember the quote on bread. Christ said, I am the bread which came down from heaven. If any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever. The bread that I will give is my flesh. I will give for the life of the world. But also in chapter seven, he speaks for himself as a living water. That's very interesting. Chapter six, he's a living bread. Chapter seven, he's a living water. Chapter eight, he says, I am the light of the world. What three wonderful chapters we have here. Dreads and water and light, they are the essentials of human life. When he's speaking here of life, he's not speaking altogether of spirit and life. And yet that's the empathy. He's speaking of knowledge. We're not talking about it. He's not talking about light that we have here in this chapel or the light that comes from the sun or invented light. Light that we see with his eyes. He's talking about knowledge. Light is knowledge. It matters not what field you're in, electronics or medicine. Time and time again, especially as students, and even when people get old, on a certain subject they say, I see it. I never saw that before. There is a light of knowledge. But the light here is a light of the knowledge of the glory of God, a knowledge of Christ. This is wonderful knowledge to have. and God wants you to have the knowledge of the light of the glory of God as seen in Jesus Christ. And so that's what he's doing before us here. Remember how the disciples have been noticing what and how they try their best to exterminate their life. Right from the beginning of our studies, we've been noticing the sides and the categories trying to apprehend and put to death the Lord Jesus Christ the source of spiritual life. They couldn't do it. They tried their best to put this light out. In fact, down in centuries, men and women, organized leaders, huge institutions, even governments have tried to put out the gospel light. They tried to exterminate the Scripture, get rid of the Bible. People make things like Russia. They'd like to get rid of this blessed book, this life. But they can't do it. How wonderful the life of this blessed book is shining more universal now than ever. Every year the statistics come out more Bibles are being printed. This is the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the faith. of Jesus Christ. Only John is the one who sees that God is a spirit. God is love and God is life. Only the tenfold revelation of his life. In other words, we have the revealing nature of this life. It illuminates life expressing itself. in these rarely found ways, just like we hear, just like a lemony, and how we are thankful and appreciate the use of a light. A man in darkness may have a book in his hand. It may be a precious book, it may be a Bible. But he is in the dark, he can't read it. He can't read the message in a book or read the print. He's in the dark. Until you'll never know the presages of the Bible or the lights in the Bible until you're brought into the light. The natural man understands if not the things of the spirit of God. When I'm saved person can't seem purpose for expoundment with me. But then you have the light of the Spirit of God. Then that blessed Holy Spirit shed light upon this blessed gift. And so a man may be in the dark and have this wonderful book in his hand. And they can't see it. And while a man may have a lot of bills, he thinks they're bills. But if in the dark he doesn't know the value of those bills, They could be counterfeit beer, counterfeit beer. But he doesn't know he's in the dark. People today don't know what these values are. That man had only, with his eyes open, he had seen these videos. Here is a thousand dollar deal of what he knows he's in the dark. No wonder it is that in the light. Then you can see. Man may be thirsty, he wants some water, and he chews around where he is, those dots, and he finds a bottle. And he knows there's something in the bottle, but he doesn't know what it is. Or he may find some water, and that's another container. He doesn't know what it is. He should be told. Why the Ecclesiastes like that? When a man's in the dark, he's in the precarious position. God might, you can't see the path. We're going through a swamp, and everything is filled up. There may be snakes, there may be holes, and there may be other things, danger. You don't see them. You may be near the swamp, and you don't know them. All the danger of walking in the block. I had an experience years ago, I'll never forget. I was out at the Eternity National Park Conference out of California, a wonderful conference. Robert Arminian, Mr. Yowley and my church were the speakers of that conference, and it was an open-air theater. When you were standing on the platform, back behind you was a huge mountain, and about a hundred feet from the back of that pulpit the trails started going up. And they had signs all over the place. Do not travel these trails without the guide, without one of the rangers. And the rangers were all around. They had officers, they would call upon them. And they were warning groups or individuals from going up those mountain trails without a guide. One morning I was sitting in the second road, and eight young people sang. a beautiful member. It was the biggest of that week of the Antony six years. He must have made a hundred and eighty pounds. And I watched him as he sang so beautifully along with the others. Bill Bush, who was in charge of that conference, after every meeting he would put out the warning, do not go up to these tales. Especially late in the day, That meeting was over. He went for dinner. In the afternoon, the folks went for various ways. He enjoyed the conference rounds. He goes through and says, that big half a tan fountain, I went there to meet myself. You know, I went places to go and draw yourself in the evening meeting. It was fine when it came around. I thought we would be really grouped together this way. And I found out. The two boys from the camp were in the middle. The last they were seen were going up one of those days. The time the meeting was over to the difficult people, after the meeting was over, the people were not listening much to the sermon, they were lecturing. No need come from these two boys. And that boy, I heard, too, was one of them. And as the meeting spoke up that night about three stories, the rangers were there, and the swaps had left the mountain. They took men all among who had fallen through with a flashlight to come on every fifty feet with a man with a flashlight. And they said, keep an eye on one another, and the rangers went ahead. And they went up as far as they could go. They found and threw the man in charge of these things, as he said he can't be anything, Christ. So they brought up the big horn, loud speakers, and he bounced over that horn. Wherever you are, stay where you are. Don't move till the morning. Stay where you are. Don't move until the morning. One boy came back down and explained that he didn't find a box that had practices. And this boy they didn't find was the one who had that box of practices. It kind of gave him a little hope. The other boy came down and he said that he was separated. He was separated. If that was the warning, wherever you are, nothing will hurt you. Just lay down. Lay where you are. Don't lose anymore. But ten o'clock that night the people, the young people were, they were started by hearing a speech, and it dried out with someone's voice. They notified the ladies, no one could go up. Sadly, the most morning some ladies were not the players and others, but along at the base of the mountain, when they found there, still. He had fallen four hundred feet. There was a kind of a slope that looked all more flat than one angle than he didn't know. Evidently he heard the man, but he found this what seemed to be an open place, and he started to walk. Little did he know the inn did he find... of that rock of his people, he was on timely, very dangerously. He likely got to the point that he didn't stop, he had walked, and he had the run, and he was over the cliff, and he had died, four hundred feet, two. Like it had been his foundation, he got there, mentally sick. I was very happy to hear that that boy had led his own parents to Christ in Los Angeles, leave for four of them again without him. He was a Christian, then. Many parents say, certainly we sympathize with him. But there is a fine young fellow. He gives a day to begin with. He lost his life when we... disobedience and darkness, for all having only waited for the sun to know where to find me, and he that lives. The Lord Jesus Christ warns against darkness, I am the light of the world, and he that tolerates me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of light. I wonder if you are concerned about walking in the light. The light reveals everything. It reveals our commitment, the commitment of the human heart. What is it reveals? It reveals in your heart the mind things that God desires. Then when your heart is tired, there's a defeat. or sub-racial stuff. Maybe some other things almost like the mess of sleep. You know why it is. It does say to your heart is like a mess of rabid sleep. Here it is. March seven, twenty-one. For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts of adultery, fornication, looser, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, An evil eye, blasphemy, pride, ruthless, all these evil things come from within and defile them all. If that's not a nest of rattlesnake, there is. That's how God sees their human heart. Heart is this people above all things and death today with you. God, they're all with us. And we know that we know that. There's not a sin in this world. He's thinking the awful things that are going on in today's world. You've got the capability to the potential of doing those very things right in here. The evil, wicked, hot, and not. The right circumstance will bring out its conditions. That's what God did. And he wants you to realize. What shows up in our hearts is just precious books of hiding. When the light is turned on, the precious Bible is speaking, it's the light that shows what's in man's heart. That's why people don't like glowing pieces. It's revealing. It reveals. It illuminates the human part. The light not only shows of our condition, I think one time he used it in his case for a man who fell down a wall. Fortunately, he didn't hit the bottom. He was caught by some juice of tea that happened to be going across. And there he was. He hung up and he cried out until he came. Those who heard the voice finally come when he was down that old way. So one of them went and got a flash, a light. And that's the light on the end of the long extension port. And they let it down. And then that light came down to where he was and went down further. And he saw what was in the bottom of that row, and he wanted to get out more than ever. He saw a half a dozen snakes down there, and a lot of other swiney creatures. And when he saw what was down the bottom of the row, I'll tell you, he thought, oh, get me out of this place. God's word is just like that light bulb being let down into the world of a human heart. And when you see what's in that heart, your hatred against God in the tenured territory of the living, oh, God gets me out in this world. You'll be happy. The light that shows you what your heart's like will bring you into the light of the knowledge of the glory of God. and so the world shows us our condition is a very dangerous condition. But what we might also reveal something else, our generation. It shows us our condition, it's so not our tradition, but it shows us God's salvation. And God focuses the light of divine peace upon His Son. If he wants to be saved, God shines a light. The spotless on time was coming. He was the one that didn't he? The boy who was sailing was still overboard. It was a dark night. And when the alarm went out, the ship stopped and the light broke was thrown. They heard his voice and the tree, the light broke. And then they got to him with their six-night. But the poor boy was slouching down there. He couldn't see the lights out. The lights out. He was quite a little face away from him. And there he was, turning danger and jeopardy until the spotlight found the light of death. And when the light found the light of death, the boy saw the scene. And they gave the same to it and jattered. That's what he needed. He wanted to see the light of him. He knew he was in the darkness. Until when you're lost, God put the spotlight on Christ. He's the light of death. He's the one and the only one he can breathe. He says, I am the light of the day. He that follow at me shall not walk in darkness if there is a light. of light. The light not only reveals, illuminates its light. He says, see the calling of me. See the believer. See the power of me shall not watch in Christ. He didn't draw the harbour light. I used to read about him, but in England, because England coastline had lots of harbours, his new brothers. He used to call them the harbour light. And when a ship was flying from a port, and it was dark. Sometimes a fog lit in the harbour. So he looked for sea lights. And when he saw those sea lights, The one in charge of that vessel, the captain, knew what to do. He tied the head, the nose of that big vessel toward the middle light, and he had this whip of that channel, the light and the light and the light and the left. Hallelujah, if he followed those lights, he'd be headed to the middle light and kept away from the two lights, but in time he had missed the heart. friend, if you want to enter the harbor of heaven, you better go by the night. Jesus Christ is the center night. The word of God and the spirit of God and on either side. God has given up his word and his spirit. God has given up his word and his spirit. And so this life dies. It leaves. Maybe you've heard the story of Pilgrim Padra, I hope you've heard it. Pilgrim is in distress, burdened with his children. But then Anjali, one of the characters in the book, comes along and he says to kill them in distress. He says, do you see that light? And to kill them in distress, he says, yes, I see that light. Well, it is right beside that light to his grave. to the beautiful city. And so Puritan finds the light, he finds the gate, and he enters the beautiful city. And that's the only way to the beautiful city is to follow the light. The light. The light of God indeed is God. I thought in the beginning I missed this past week of God's flesh. He died a year ago. Before I went to Canada back in the spring, he asked me, he was very much interested in the book of Revelation. And he asked me if I had any messages on the book of Revelation, I said, yes. And he asked me if I'd like to have them, because I knew you. So I took them all over here. I think I took it here at the beginning. Before I left, I gave them all at us. But he died. before we could go. And finally, my wife, she gave me back the car set and all the car set. This week, when I took the car set, I saw there was a car set in the player, and I e-gested it, and the last two the buddies left played there for whom And it had only been a couple of days before we entered it. If you want to get to the Holy Spirit, you are going to have to follow the light. You will not talk in God's place. You have a light of light. How wonderful then to know something of this light. And it's a wonderful night. Christ saves the light. But this light not only illuminates, it not only drives and leaves, and you can take another illustration of these wise men, they follow this car with the pages. It's all my life. But the light here is a dragon. He says he shall not walk in life. Light here and light rise. To the lost community travellers, the light in the window of the Holy Spirit, lies at once, in your body. But all of a sudden you see a light, and it's in the window of a Holy. Immediately you're happy. Immediately you feel because you know that light in the Holy Spirit, you know there are no enemies there. You know there must be someone there. It means hope. It means cheer. It means draw the presence of human beings. It means the much we have heard there, the much we can. And the one lost, he followed that little light lately in the window, and he finds hope. He finds hope. He finds those who sympathize. He takes them in and feed them and give them a nice way. a woman in the face of the light. And how a gladness, how it feels, can be a gladness. You know, all the rest of us is an amazing testimony when it is due. Let's give us ten, twenty-three in three. And Moses cut forth his hand toward heaven. And there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt. Three days they saw not one another, Neither rode any man from the place or any day that all the children of Israel had light in their blood. The Egyptians did. They didn't move. They didn't see any of them. So dense was the dust. The road had been sighted by the blood. Had light in their blood. And I read that with me. I thought it was true in America, true in the world. All over this world, there are families, there are homes, and there's not one way that there is enough. They know nothing of Christ. Grace does not tell it the people that I live not there. What God? And it's getting doctored by the grace. How wonderful to know there's a light in that world. One day, forever still as pure as day, forever as we live all as we. The children of Israel have light in their joy. I wonder how they'll be. Kids are our homes by spiritual life. One more tragic thing if I went into one home in Burlington, North Carolina. The mother was blind, the father was kind, and beautiful children were blind and never had a blind baby in a land of the dead. I thought that's it. It is. A friend of our millions of home in America, and we're all in the dark. We haven't seen a life yet. We must be honest. We have the home that knows that. their faith. But this life also heals. The world has learned the value of infrared light, ultraviolet light on the green quilts and battered bodies, poor for the human body. We thank God for these lights and rays. We remember the soul of the unsaved lead healing and the Lord Jesus the light when he was wounded for our death struck as he was true for our iniquity the baptism of our peace was laid upon him and with his sight we may be healed what your soul will be healing this morning the only one who can heal that soul will be healed and that you receive him healed that may even privilegal language. And it doesn't say anymore about the healing of the body. I know there have been various cases where God has anybody. He's referring to the soul. Your soul is fixed. You can find the soul is fixed. But the healing is there. The more deep you'll hear your heart. You'll heal it. You'll go through it and pop it. Find it up. Your womb. to read in Psalm number one what he said. But then the light warns, strikes this broad-strait lighthouse, warning men and women of the danger of life. Think of the lighthouse as on the coast, shut it up and down, or these coats that are lighthouses. We are there for warning, warning ships of the touch of rocks and heat along our coast. And how those who are highly worshiped, thank God, are those lifetimes, entirely many things, just for life. How sad today in this past weekend, I don't know what the national figure is, but I know in Georgia, ten lost their lives over the holidays, and likely went into the hundreds. What did a lot of them do? They went against the warning light. They went against the yellow light that put up the caution, slowed down. Evil went through the red light spot. Personally, the blinking light of a patrolman. They violated these lights. They went on. And they spread off. And the day... They are cars like peach-chees, with their pumps of twisted seed and their bodies twisted tea and their clothes and hair which causes more dewarmed life. That's happening every day. Many women trying their things, they will not be warned by the virus, dissipate, the rocks with drugs, fearlessness, tenderness, perdition. A fanatical religion. Think of what's going on in the Bible. A fanatical view of men and women, they didn't follow the lights of the Bible, they wouldn't. They didn't. That's only satanic. I said to someone this week, they brought it up. What do you think about it, Brother? I said, the spirit of God wasn't behind that movement, but they wouldn't have done it. There was another spirit that served a religious life. No had they gone according to the light we would even teach that never would have passed. Are there any more dense warning states that God is putting up? No wonder if we are going to follow these lights or ignore the light. The word of God, the word of God, and the servant of God. Lastly need light. To warn you. As you see the longest on your path. This is the long mirror. All I am. Good on. Keep after this. I'm just trying my best. More than many days. Trying to wave the light. Flash. Maybe sometimes the yellow light. Go down. short life. And when people come to a spot and they know they're lost, they're lost, then I can turn the light onto the surface of Christ. He's the one who lives. Come out of the darkness into the light and be saved. Accept my gift as the warm merrily of the day of the darkness in the earth. And the light the blessedness, the serenity, the joy, the feast of the light, the signs of glory, the person, of the energy. You know, the light blinds to you. You can be blinded by light, but often that happens. You know light can warn, it can say, but it can say, Fire's wonderful, it warms you, the fire can kill you. What is a wonderful thing? You can't get along without it, which you can be blind. Light can heal, but it can't hurt. Brother Hendrickson, as he had told me not long ago, and he was a younger man, he went out and he found the sun, and he stared right into the sun, and wouldn't stop because he had lost his anger. Yes. He was flying in the face of being dead and flying in the face of being dead. He was flying in the face of Jesus Christ and the death of being dead. He was told by the flying in the face of being dead. One time I read the article in the paper about these migrating birds coming down from the north. In fact, a congressman, one in the Lord, something couldn't be done. There were a couple of lightened cars over these schools. And when these birds are coming down, they fire up a fantastic trance of water, possibly tires, not much food. And they have actually scooped up with these big machines, thousands and thousands and thousands of dead bodies of birds that flew right into the left. like him and yet that might help one bit there to give me the warning of me that. Quite often the non-nary animal fares infidently at the light of an oncoming deer. It's too late. But here, when the game is defying the fate of the night of the bite, And the force of that makes Jesus Christ. He never ends in God-missing if you try to be the faith and God. In the fall during the revolution, he will climb there and touch the six, one of the few. He will cry to the rocks in the mountains to fall upon them, to hide them from the face of sin. Let's sit with them. You'll be off with him, and off the thing in that day. You'll see that once. He's so brilliant. He's so great. A friend of you, except him, he'll say, you believe me, fly into your place and oppose you. You're going to get the consequences. And those rich men are going to try and hide in the cave, asking those granite monsters to fall upon them, to hide them. in our faith are that we of whom Christ is with and with you. When you come to this life, these wages are we, everyone here. How wonderful to come to Christ when not drunk in Christ. When you come to the Lord Jesus, when you come to this morning. One of the things about this amazing life The fact that it's kept so often a light is used to test something. I've gone into a store once or twice in my life, and I was looking at something and the place wasn't set up so well. I said, well, I'd like to see that thing outside the door. That's loud in the sunlight. They will do the look at it. One is kept with three colors, but they don't take it in the light. Yes, in order to do these tests. talk about your reality. You take your reality with your light. Pull up what you are with a person of Christ who's in prayer that you're given. Pull your knife up to the light and you'll hang your head in praise. The light there. You profess to be a teacher. Hold up your profession to the person of Christ. Does it compare? That person of Christ, the light comes from him, will expose your empty profession. You will be born again. Oh, hold up any church, any denomination. Hold it up to the light, the person of Christ. None of them will save. All the churches in Calvary will. All the denominations in the world won't be. Only Christ will save you. Pull them all up to Christ. To understand the truth. All they do. It's a life test. And the test the Lord Jesus put to those tribes of Pharisees, those in private sermon at the Christ. What take me of Christ? That's the test. What take me of Christ? The man talks to me about religion, my testimonies. What do you think is that? That's the good. Is he the Son of God? Is he the hand that talks to you at least? Is he alive at God's right hand? Is he coming again? What do you think of that? That's the good. Pull everything up to see the light. Where he's the only person who can see And we deal with them in their details. For none of the new things about this wonderful light, this light is reflected. This light is not a little wire. It's not a ball. It's not a bright new end. It's not a generated light. It's not a reflected light. The moon reflects the light of the sun on the earth. Jesus Christ is not a reflection. Jesus Christ is Delight. He says, I am Delight. That's the way. There's no other way. None can compare with the Lord Jesus. It's not intended. I'll then into the home in being this difficult one time that we all have seen this place. And I actually saw the very footprints of Edison in Ponzi. And he sat in there, and Henry Ford, he has their tea distributed. He had him do it, but it might be preserved, the footsteps of Edison. But I also saw the first house that was ever wired by electricity by Edison. It's not mine. It's great. What is that like compared to the person of science? He fell out. not an invented life. He was the creator of life. And talking about lighting up a house with halls, do you know he's going to light up the universe? The day is coming when the heavens are clear ways. The sun, the moon, the stars and all constellations. They have no need of the sun, the moon, the stars, and the holy city, for the land is the light thereof. Jesus Christ is going to rain and flood the new solution among the whole earth. It is light. That's the light of Christ. You know, when it's about the blessed person, it's wonderful talking about his coming birth this time of the year, how often you see light, the light of the heavens, angels of things. And the chorus sang, And the shepherds saw a great light. The wise things follow the light. Look into the lane. Do you see the light in that little gate, the son of God? The light down there, he saith. The light of joy. Oh, the light is associated with the Christ in his birth. And during this life, the light. all the things that are now at God's right hand. Another thing, the last thing about this light, or the second last, this light is universal. He says, I am, and he says, I am the light of this world. This light is universal. I'm never in the history of the world Have we got the communication systems we have today by radio and also by other means? The flooding the earth is the light. The light of the world is deep. The fire is going on within every single town, deep in the nature. And this is light. How wonderful. And all this light, true light. It lightens up your heart. It lightens up your life. It lightens up your heart. The source of that light is you. I am the light of the world. He that walks, comes to me and walks and follows me, shall not walk in darkness, but can have a month or more. And if I know for a tenth, light receding. As you read this chapter you find toward the end, the Lord gave, I've warned those people enough. They constantly contradict you. Try to find falsity. Try to kill. Finally, the light begins to recede. You know the last verse of this chapter of reading. Verse fifty-nine. Then took the up stones to cast at him, but he that hid himself and went out of the temple, going to the midst of them, and so passed by, the light received. The stones that could have been thrown at that little woman earlier, was that were thrown at him. And he didn't deserve it. Light received. And the days are going to approach, when is approaching, when God is going to withdraw the light that has been shining so long. He says, my spirit shall not always strive with light. This light and God can be wistily flying the minds of many women. He can withdraw himself from... They have found for their benefit so long, and they've been rejected it, rejected it, rejected it. One of these days, God says, you've had enough. You've rejected my gospel enough. Now I'm going to receive my Spirit, and I've always cried enough. I know not the more tragic things that God will withdraw the light He had enough, and I had enough. The light in his door. In that way, darkness. Spiritual darkness, and it will mean eternal darkness, where there's reaching, raining, and not to your feet. But now the light is shining. When you come to sight, will you invite them into your darkened heart? This life, this wonderful, wonderful, wonderful life, full with these guys, giving with me the night, for heaven, for eternity.
