A Yale University biophysicist has come up with another set of figures that heals a bruised ego. Dr. Harold J. Morowitz says that the average human body is worth about six million dollars. Yes, believe it or not, you're a six million dollar creation. That hefty price covers only the raw materials. Hormones, proteins, enzymes, RNA, DNA, amino acids and other complex biochemicals. He adds that the incredibly intricate work of fashioning the six million dollars worth of material into human cells might cost six thousand trillion dollars, and assembling these cells into a functioning human being would drain all the world's treasuries.
