In the old days of the country store, when raisins were sold unpackaged, a storekeeper told a little boy that he could have a handful of raisins. The boy was happy but hesitated, so the grocer put his hand into the box and insisted the boy take the handful. Later the boy was asked why he was so slow in taking the raisins himself, when the man told him to. Boy's answer, his hand is bigger than mine. Not bad thinking on the boy's part. I'm reminded of our Father in heaven and the saying God always gives his best to those who leave the choice with him. The Bible says, I will answer them before they even call to me. While they're still talking to me about their needs, I will go ahead and answer their prayers.
