M.I.A.L.A.A., but keeping the truth in love may grow up into giving all things which is the hell, even Christ, from whom the whole body shall be joined together in a compactly financed every time for time, according to the effect of working in the nature of every time. May the King Jesus the Father be edified of its earth, everyone. Now let me just make this section as a tranquil section of what we have in the left, or the right is something here. It's somewhat different to that which follows. It all has to do with our behavior, our conduct, or the method or the way by which we may fulfill the command or the exploitation given to us in the first verse of our chapter that we should walk worthy of the Holy Spirit wherever we are called. What is given to us in this section is essential. for a proper relationship with the other members of the body of Christ. What follows, it deals with our relationship with others, both in the church and in the world, and then in the Latin section, it deals with our relationship with others in our home. Husbands, wives, children, servants, families, these are exhorted in various ways, so the same then what the word is of that call, whether it's their call. For everything that God has given us in the Lord Jesus Christ should affect and affect every part of our life. God does not speak to us in his word, nor does that only certain narrative of our mind and mind. He desires that the whole man should be transformed. Not only when he's praying at church and attending services and going through the motions of the Lord, if that's what we might be doing here too, not at that time alone, but rather in his home, in a domestic feeling, or in a business life. These are areas where I must learn the Christian to walk worthy of that calling where the divine calling. That's glorified the Lord who has saved him. And if I walk worthy of the Lord and I need him, I want to forget you that my life will become very fruitful. It can help me. It's not me because I'm free. It's necessary. Some of us aren't very gifted at stupid. Some of us are not able to express ourselves in the way that others can. And we might feel by a reason that we have no work to do. But I want to assure you that I'm saying this, not just a preacher saying, okay, the Trinity is glorious, some of whom may not be able to speak to Peter. I am just saying this in spirit, that speaking is only a very, very small part of the Christian consciousness. Our youth, to me, is born by us every day. We are very blessed to be able to be told by our attitudes, by the way we do things, by the way we conduct ourselves in our lives. And that is the epistle, the epistle, and the core of our ambition. We will live in a very clear, wonderful way. But we with this section, this first section verses one to sixteen, I want to suggest again the outline of our baby before that in the first six verses we had yet for attention to think together. Now that deals with the unity of the Spirit. This requires an attitude, and our working of this spiritual attitude in me as I rule the land of the people of God in the assembly in the church. For you will know that it says, I am to endeavour the things of the unity of the Spirit, hear you on my feet, spare it, say this, I will be right away, that I must endeavour, I must be the unity of the Spirit. Now that unity of the Spirit that is maintained, is maintained by my life, my life. Then I want you to notice from verse ten on through to verse eleven in July, we are imploring not only to keep together, but we have a project before us, we have a work to do, we are to work together. And we may call that, under that section, we may speak about the unity of the body. And you notice, as we begin in verse four, really, it says there is one body, and then it shows how the various members of that body are to function and work together. And so every one of us is said in verse ten, is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. So the word there is that we are not just simply to keep together as a company, but we are to relate together and to serve each other and thus to work together. And that is a unity, not as a spirit, so much as a unity of the body, which is a unity of life. a unity of love, and now a unity of divine. Because in each member of the body, it's the Holy Spirit active, working through us, enabling us to be made properly to each other, and thus this unity is given practical expression in our assembly life. Then we come to the last section which says that we grow together, verse twelve to sixteen, For the whole purpose of the previous section is that there might be, as a saintly of the saints, but well, and as every individual believer, for the love of the ministry. The love of the ministry, I might say, is not applied to platform work or public speaking in any way, but the love of the ministry is just in the love of the church. And the idea is that God has given is that the work of Surrey, Surrey the other, might carry upon our homings, and happy ways for the Lord is God. And it is for the edifying of the body of Christ. So if we had peace together in the first section and then work together, we had the sort of rowing together. And that is a unity of the faith. You will notice that's what it's called there. Till we all come, but first it is in unity of faith. Now that will not actually be reached in its fullness and in its maturity until the coming of the Lord. But we are to keep together, work together, and to grow together. giving expression to the unity of the spirit, the unity of the body, until we all come to the unity of the faith. And that's the first that is outlined for us here in this question. That's what is before us here. Now, let me go back again to those first three chapters. The Apostle has outlined our blessings. And he has listened to them. He has elevation. And the wonderful thing about the truth of God is that if I digest this and meditate upon it, it elevates me without inflating it. And that's tremendously important. The Word of God has a way of doing that. It elevates me and lifts me up without inflating it. It doesn't limit to my heart. Because all that I have is what I have in the Lord Jesus Christ. I have it because of my union with him, my relationship with him. I do not have it because of what I am in myself. I have it because of what he is, and because I am united with him who is trained to live, given out all that we should have done. So then, we come to this first verse, the fourth chapter, and we're told what word we have this proposition. You will notice that in Egypt, right, it says with all low red. and Jesus, and on some reason, for bearing one another in one. Now the very exhortation that is given to me in verse two shows me that in order to walk worthy, I have to relate to other Christians. Now how am I to relate to other Christians? Because as I say, God is teaching, he says, now I want you to relate to the other people of the faith. Now God tells that, and I say this kind phrase, There is no generation yet. And I do not believe that Christians need to promote what is called a generation gap. I am talking about it. Typically, it will not really be named a month. If we find that such a thing does exist in practice, the authorities will have to deal with it. But let me exhort those of us who are older here, and those of us who are younger, to realize that what our purpose is that we should relate to one another's office, that once we come into the church we leave behind the concepts of the world at. The world says, in effect, leave the certain deposit of life, so there is a life of the old people, that's levy, a wind and a young year, and we're going to carry our condoms. When we come into the church, there is to be no such thing. The believers, young and old, are to lose men. They are to repeat together, that to work together, and to grow together, and there will be no proper growth in any church or any assembly. If we simply divide up into sections and cells, we have younger people and older people, there must be plenty of opportunity for the believers to relate to one another. to hand those opportunities to express themselves in fellowship, praise, and in prayer, so that each can make a benefit of the other series. This is essential to Christian love. Now, I'm not quoting, I gave the necessity from time to time for having special meetings for a special group of people divided according to their age. That may be done. But I am simply saying that I can leave it among the Lord saying that the believers have together, we should, in effect, have plenty of opportunity for the believers to relate to one another with nothing that is to fit the generation yet. All those who love the Lord Jesus should be together, bringing the blessings that each has to be to the other. Now, in order to do that, I must first have an attitude toward myself. So I did it with me and then he worked out for me. First he said, we're all lonely. And I don't suggest to you that that is self-worth. That is just an attitude that I have to walk my way. If we go through Romans chapter twelve, we find similar things we've taught there. After having told us that we have to defend our bodies because he tells us... In verse three, that we are not content of ourselves nor highly in the ordinary. But the things of revelation, according as God has said to every man in every place. Now I may come back to that by this time, but I'm just making the point here that we first see that the potential for growth in the Christian life is low thoughts about myself. High thoughts about Christ. We are the kind of victims in him. Realize how wonderful he has made it in him. And how wonderful his people are in him. I must then look at myself. And with all the love in him, walking for the people of God. And that is truly what we're talking for is at the beginning of this conference. when we had that ministry on ground john chapter thirty where they had made handful of the lord giveth what he would do if i could see him telling them that as he had done so they were to do so one another so there must be exquisite no limit that if first i must have loaths all about myself I can't come into the assembly and be attracted to the assembly. If I stick out my chest and say, here I am, folks, look what God has done in my life. I'm going to be a wonderful person of grace. Now use me. Give me a place in the assembly. Give me work to do. And I'll show you what kind of Christian I am. If I come into that kind of attitude, not only will the saints who've ended, I'm back away from it. But the Lord has not put me on the job. I am to come here with a very low humble way and be willing to learn rather than to teach and tell others. And that is interesting. That's my courtesy. If you've just been saved, you might feel that you have so much of the Savior. I don't tell you that you might not be. You might feel that you have so much of the Spirit through the people of God. Indeed, you do. You'll take care of it. But you won't be able to do it. And then you come into the academy with a lowly Spirit. And they'll come to be called God and before these people. Then he told it, with all meekness. What the word is, I walk with loneliness, that my attitude towards myself, and I want to suggest in this context of meekness, is God's word. God's word. We sometimes use this word in the scripture that's all I believe. This word relates to our attitude, to our brethren. But I want to suggest to you here that the thought is, my attitude, my self is one of loneliness. My attitude to God and his word is one of absolute submissiveness. Well, that is what's thought behind me. I understand that this word, meat, was used as a coat. One should throw it to me. You know when they're going to break an animal in. I don't know great about it. But understand. They're going to break an animal in. That is a coat. It'll break it in. Or a horse. Other than it. It'll break it in. It'll have a wrong meat. And they let the animal go around in the circle, the trainer, hold on to the leave and the animal just sits and goes around as far away as possible from the one who is controlling it, and goes around and around in the circle. And then gradually, as I say, the owner brings the animal in closer to himself. So it's gradually getting used to being near to him. That is, the animal becomes used to being near to its owner. And it becomes gradually the other form is conscious through the core of the rope. or the reindeer. And then, if you've entered the airport, the surface is, the animals will be so close to the owner that they're going to put a saddle on the back, and to get up, onto it, and control it. And when the owner has gotten to the place where he can grind the animal, and control it, he's having a spool on the reindeer, a spool there, when he can do that, there's no animal at least. Because it has now closed its feet, no where it goes. It's not come to do its own will. It's come to the place where it's doing the will of another. And then the Lord gave the truth back to that. Only then can he go to me. I am come not to do my own will, but the will is that I am meek and lonely in heart. Learn the peace. Peace is our adventure. So if I'm going to relate to others in the assembly, number one, I must have no more about myself, I must be submitted to the will of another. Now, that will of another is expressed to me through God's word. It isn't that I become submitted necessarily to the will of other people in the assembly. Though it can be met also. For becoming submitted to God's word by many learns... That what I am being told is according to the word of God. And if you're not those of us who are older, except young people who submit the things simply because they're traditional enough. We should be able to genuinely find out, or sorry, to find out from the Word of God that this and that is how we use Scripture, and which is in nature, and we ourselves willing to instruct those who are not yet instructed in the face of God. But we must use the Scripture in order to do it. Otherwise we cannot accept that a person who is considered this with it, because we haven't been old, or because we have accepted that particular tradition. We must be able to point to the Word of God and to show them that it is there. And young people today, rightly so, want to know what authority we have for saving little that thing in my personal experience with being out of that door. That in almost every sense we are having able to show a young person, a young believer from the Word of God, that this is in revival and that this is what the Bible says there is no showing. But what we find in anybody is trying to tell a young person that this is what we do in our ascension and we get to the Lord. We ought to be able to give a life, bless the Lord. It means a lot of places. And that's what we come to mean. For it says to all places of God, not suffering the word of the earth, for bearing one another in love. Because, along with the low thoughts that I had about myself and the submissiveness, the garden's words, the deepened, there must be an attitude of patience or long-suffering continually overshows within my common contact. Whether I'm seeking to teach, whether I'm seeking to learn, there's a need for long-suffering and for merit. Oh, how do you need these things in our life? And in our heart, how practical do you think of He has just come out of the heavens. We have just been blessed with all spiritual weapons. We've all put our hands in the power of the universe to others. Through the things of heaven and earth. And if you're dead in the deep, God's dream, the unity of the Spirit and of all the people. And I don't want to get to you, but the way you do that is simply how blind our hearts emerge truth. I cannot dwell on that anymore. Now it says very definitely that there is one body and one spirit, even if you're called in one boat, on your boat. There is one body. Now what does the Apostle exactly mean by that? Well, if we turn back to his very, in his very simple, I should say, he chapter two. You will know that in verse twelve that the Apostle sees of this one body. Chapter two was twelve, sixteen. But at that time, that is, before you were saved, you were without sight. Now, particularly here, is it, having, let me say, and this is where it's so important to relate the text to the context, the approachable is for those who attend us. It is true that all men and the saints, before they are saved, are without sight. But in the sense in which it uses it here in verse twelve, it was not true of the Jews. They did have a Messiah. Well, that's what science means. They did have a Messiah. They were not aliens to the Commonwealth of Israel. They were members of the Commonwealth of Israel. They were not predators to the covenants of the prophets. Those families were part of the ministry there. Say whether or not we have hope, because the hope of the Messiah coming and saying, I'll receive them, will come through that with envy, dowels and fathers and fathers, and traders among those people who were known as the people of God in those days of time. And they were not without God on the road. They were saying that God was there, thank you. But this is particularly true about the empire. That ego without God. We were a youth from the Commonwealth of Israel, strangers from the Covenant, having no hope that we don't know all of this world, but now. In Christ Jesus, the English sometimes were a part of our men and I by the blood of Christ. Who were far off? The Gentiles were far off. The Jews were not far off in the context that we have lived. There is only a Jew here. Now, of course, spiritually, there may not be the Jews there in the far end of the Gentile world. But the point is that those Jews who were far off were coming from the Gentiles, but they were there in the end. So then we now, in a way, he seems to be a Gentile, now it might be of me who sometimes will follow on me nine times above the Christ, for he is our priest, who has known the soul. Both you and Gentiles, one. How would he done that? He hath broken down the middle wall of parted into three months, having abolished in his place the aim of thee, even the law of the man, containing it in order, it says, for to make in itself of two one new man, so making peace. And of the night reconciled, both God and God and God and God, and God, having plainly tried, but God, having plainly and, hence the air got to be there about to count. I would like to suggest to you here then, as we know, the two verses, that he is telling that the Gentiles of the Zahar the Jew is in. And there is a reason for this. And it was a divinely ordained reason. It wasn't something that had just grown up in the process of time. There is a reason why Jew and Gentile were divided into the biblical reasons. There was a law among them contained in ordinances, which said that the Gentiles were not in him, but he was in the Zahar. And indeed, if there was any length for a Gentile in one section of time, the God would be hanging on to the ground of a servant of the Jew, he hung him up, to the Gentile, approaching himself with the Jews becoming a prophet, and still wasn't at all good in the Jews of guilt. Now he sent back to his completely doubtless job, and now in reply, it has no longer been made by any. This distance is no longer a difference between the Jew and Gentile, because he has made both one. This tells me that when the Spirit of God speaks about there being one body, speaking of the Church, that there should be no division written on it now along way to life. The only divinely ordained and committed decision has been abolished. There was a division between Jew and Gentile, regularly this was the thing to be carried out. Now there must be no division in the church, practically, because of the great deal of the things, because of the kind of love and attitude. Because of the kind of God, he gives them part of the world. These things do not go the time. And I was in town, and I was tempted to say that among the good things there, there were all sorts of divisions that existed, and one of them, most unfortunate, much more. And I can say it was a great job. Well, I can say it's a great deal. But for you, the British people and the American people, I'm really happy. They ought not to live in there. And I'm thinking, I'm thinking, people, let's see next to you. The pros of that tradition are of a certain degree ethical line, which that is that their association with a certain denomination at one time in the old country, would jump over this denomination of barrier because it happens to be conducted by somebody who is American or a British. And they were the opposite. And so there was those who were there, with which they did not agree, with that position, they brought together far into what they had in South and counted them as they come. And they were associated with the leaders there, simply because of the difference that exists between the Greek and the American. I thought that was very, very clear. Now what he also gave up through, there was a very, very happy expression. But it was, no, it was very good. And very, very standard. The deal was that he didn't, he didn't allow the long way to go on. Or it wasn't publicized. Nobody said, well, this is an American sheriff and a British sheriff and a British self-confident. Nobody said, this is a British sheriff and a American self-confident. What if it's doing up to you? That this is what was happening. Now, if I didn't get any of it, you didn't get it, you didn't get it wrong, you didn't get it. But you can't let it down into the marriage line. You can't let it go down. You can't let it go down. It wasn't published. I've got to bear. And this can happen because of the color of our skin. It can happen because of the country in which they're cut. And this must not be allowed to develop in a church. And so easily it will, because the flesh dwells on our origins. The flesh dwells on our personal family. The flesh dwell on that which I inherited from my parents. And there's a difference between me and my brother. The flesh must dwell on those things. But you never look, even though you know, it's not where I come from, it's where I'm never looking for. Sometimes I'm supposed to, and I wouldn't spoil what they're doing. If I'm a man or a man, I'm not making a change of word, you know. Sometimes folks will get my name out of their clothes and leave and they're all crooked here, the old-time janitor person. I mean, I try to shake it off, but I can't. Not because I'm ashamed of it, but because I'm here in Canada or in the US, I have applied to you to go and help take an action and do the more use of them as well. And I know the thing, when I get paid for it, I think the old man, he's good with it. He does the same with the old boss. Anyway, I thought, sometimes they can't go to the end of the battle as a whole or as a new place, but they were supposed to give the old country action to get it. And that's why I couldn't make that whole country in any way. In any way, I don't know if I can make too much of these rules. I said, you know, but really it doesn't matter where we come from, doesn't it? And that is where we go. Where do you go? And that's really true. It doesn't matter where it comes from. The land of origin is not the most important. It's the land of creation. And in fact, we have one hope that we hold it. And there is one body. And we ought to dedicate years of service to the bond of peace. And I'm going to put a first principle in chapter twelve, please. First principle in chapter twelve. And I'm going to really begin with the subject of the one body every time to tell him that the other... Seven, you need to take each. Okay, but that would be the body of Christ. In that section in chapter four, it would be. But three of you start with twelve. And I want you to read from verse twenty-three to twenty-five. Again, it's speaking about the body. There's a little bit of an interest. No benefit to the body that still thinks to be led on by the Lord. That is, we're speaking about our own new body. We don't use it. Those members of the body that gave energy left on before, all we would be so more of underpond. And our humbly part had more of underpond. For our humbly part had no need. Our claw had kept with the body together, having given more of underpond to that part which ran, that there should be no difference between the body. But for the men who should have the same care, one for another. Now, I want you to notice that word, that a lot of temporary are bottled together. That's a very long word. I understand that, again, I'm indebted to the help of like other diviners callers and dictionaries that we wrote that we've already had a commercial. I guess underlined a number of words today. But I understand from that point of view, that there could be a choice of two big words here. Or the idea that it was suggested to us in verse twenty-four. There is a word that you use in scripture which means to mix together. You know, mix together very well. And that word will be used here in verse twenty-four. Yes, that's what the Holy Spirit means. You could have said for a hundred and a half had no meat, but God had mixed the very same together. He uses the proper word. He uses the word temporary. Now, let us make a difference. Let me suggest that you're a farmer. I've got to be careful to get my brother to the other direction on it. Now, let's suggest you're a farmer and you've got to tax his readiness and you're, you know, well, I'm two-faxed, yes. And you might come on the right and give him a hole in his tax. Now, as a result of this, with the weight of grain on top and so on, with a little bit of green in there, and a little bit in the barn, as a result of this, much of the grain used to snack, come down, and it's mingled there. So it was very, very hard to keep with its water. And that tingles between the two parts of the grain make it very careful. And you get down to the Academy Street. Now, how do you make things? And if it's your desire to do so, you see, you could sit down in the floor of your lawn and pray in many hours, you take each piece and separate each piece, but they don't have been mixed together, they're as intended. They were still in separate pieces of bread, although they were mixed together, so that on a cursory branch you do not see that there were two kinds of bread in there. They were only mixed together. Now that's not how we are in the church of God. We're not just a lot of people that are mixed together. We're tempted to gather in the modern world. What does that really mean? Well, if you take the wine and you add the water to it, and you mix it up, now separate it together, you can't really think. Why? Because it's tender, isn't it? It mixed in such a way that you can't do the work of it. It joins together in such a way that the drinkers are coming one week, the wine and the water are blended together. And that's the word excuse me. And that's how we are as well as people in the body of Christ. We're not going to expect that members all relating to one another, that's why we become unrelated again, at will or at later. We are members, enter together in the body of Christ. Now in this context, it's terrible. That's the Bible at places. that in our human body we serve more abundant form and form around our hungry heart so that they might have more abundant hunger. I think we understand that. That's the very next book. We cover up those parts with less hungry and we try to accentuate those parts that are more hungry. We try to get to what is undergone in the sense of how the method of providing for it and caring for that part of the mankind. This is what it's done in the human body. This is the very end of it. Now God says in the word that that is how we are to do the part of the life. That we are not. That we are not to despise one another, because one's being hurt is to be somewhat unhumbley towards us. Or it is, unhumbley, I suppose. What I'm saying is this. That if the passage in Ephesians tells us that there is no division along racial grounds, because God has destroyed the lonely barrier there that is lifted on racial grounds, If there is to be no division on the ground, here he tells us that there is to be no division on the ground of inferiority, socially or intellectually. But I have the urge to debate for every other being, but regardless of his intellectual ability or his educational status or any other being, there is to be no division on those lines. Now it turns to you through Romans chapter twelve. And if it's a lot, but I want to give you out about you, Romans chapter twelve. And he noted verses four and five. For as we have many members in one body and all members, they're not the same one. And so we in many are one body in Christ, that everyone members one of another, but... We have gifts according to the grace that is given to us, and our gifts, this way, according to the grace that is given to us. Each man is to wait upon the other ministry in these works of gifts. Each man is to do his own work. I heard from the early division, the lounge of the church of God, because of his gifts to the man. There isn't a tendency to ever raise a man who is able to do what we have in the most important things. I'm afraid you'll often that we count the flash of words in the most important things. We say, well, we must have a man who is to speak words. And of course, if God has given such a man in the assembly, there's a tendency for a division to arise over them and try to find a solution. If he's doing that, Harry, they would be like to give him the gift from the ability to serve the person, if there was a policy without work. I'm going to put him over against the Apostle Paul, who was a man whose appearance was not wearing a dresser, whose following a dresser was weak, though it was the way he was out. And there's all the things, people, this kind of thing to develop in the church of God. There were a group of Christians, they are suffering for us today, who a number of years ago, encouraged among themselves to give to the Father he, to the effect of the gift of evangelism. So much so that the evangelists would gradually squeeze out of their fellowship. And they have comfort for every Christian. They have become even lower. They are living no longer. They are comfortably growing smaller. Because there are divisions of the Christian, over the matter of the fifteen years. And our neighbor will help us each month in our faith, in our Christian faith. To attend to the unity of the church, in the long tree, and round, we shall walk wherever we are called, wherever we are called.
