Moments of Melody, five minutes especially for you and for you. What is a square? Well, here's the definition by someone. I know a guy who's a real square. He's polite and God-respecting. He freely admits that he prays. plays with little kids, kisses his mother, goes to his dad for advice, and thinks old folks are great. He puts savings in the bank, appreciates school, avoids off-color discussions about sex. He goes to church regularly, drives within the speed limit, doesn't smoke, expects purity in girls, and recognizes that the in-crowd may be off-base. As a result of his unusual behavior, he sometimes loses friends. But he always wins the gratitude and admiration of his parents, family, teachers, and many peers. He has an unpolluted imagination and exercises spiritual perception. To some he may seem a peculiar fellow, but his bearing suggests an enviable joy and peace of mind. I like him. I've a home beyond the river, beyond the river I've a man, I should try to stand, I've a home beyond the river, beyond the river, I was where it should go, oh the blessed contemplation, when with trouble here I shall, I've a home beyond the river that I'll enter by and by. Sweeter still to see the Savior, praise Him for redeeming love. I'm a home beyond the shining river. I'm a minor and bright and fair. I'm a home beyond the shining river. I swear with Jesus there. The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure discovered in a field. In his excitement the man who discovers it sells everything he owns to get enough money to buy the field. Again the kingdom of heaven can be illustrated by a fisherman. He casts the net into the water and gathers in fish of every kind, valuable and worthless. When the net is full he drags it up onto the beach and sits down and sorts out the edible ones into the crates and throws the others away. That is the way it will be at the end of the world. The angels will come and separate the wicked people from the godly, casting the wicked into the fire. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Two roads and two destinies. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you'll have a home beyond the river. Some may scoff and say you're a square if you believe. But that's a whole lot better than the other alternative. Thank you.
