Good morning, everyone. Time again for moments of melody. Someone as well said, if you don't desire to meet the devil during the day, meet the Lord Jesus before dawn. If you don't want the devil to hit you, Hit him first, and hit him with all your might, so that he will be too crippled to hit back. There is a real advantage in meeting the Lord Jesus before the dawn of every day and talking to him in prayer, and then allowing him to speak to you through his word, the Bible. I met God in the morning when my day was at its best, and his presence came like sunrise with a glory in my breast. All day long the presence lingered, all day long he stayed with me. and we sailed in perfect calmness o'er a very troubled sea. Other ships were blown and battered, other ships were sore distressed. But the winds that seemed to drive them brought to us both peace and rest. Then I thought of other mornings, with a keen remorse of mind, when I too had loosed the moorings with the presence left behind. And so I think I know the secret learned from many a troubled way. You must seek him in the morning, if you want him through the day. Thank you. There's a new song in my heart since the change of every day. There's a new song in my heart. It is a heavy harmony. All my sins are washed away in the blood of cavalry. All my peace and joy, nothing can destroy. There's a new song in my heart. Once my life was filled with discord, sadness rang with me, for my heart was debilitated. Since I trusted Christ as Savior and His Word of God, there's a new song in my heart. There is a new song in my heart, tis a heavenly harmony. All my sins are walked away in the blood of her glory. For what peace and joy, nothing can live. There's a song of me, there's a song of joy, there's a new song in my heart. And now we're going to open the Bible and read a few verses from the Gospel according to St. Mark, chapter thirteen. The Lord Jesus continues to speak of the future. In those days after this distress the sun will be darkened, and the moon will refuse to give her light, and the stars will be falling from heaven, and the powers that are in heaven will rock, and then they will see the Son of Man coming upon the clouds with great power and glory. And then he will send out his angels to gather his elect from the four winds, from the earth's end to heaven. The fig tree will teach you a parable. When its branch grows supple and begins to put out leaves, You know that summer is near, so you, when you see all this come about, are to know that it is near at your very doors. Believe me, this generation will not have passed before all this is accomplished. Though heaven and earth shall pass away, my words will stand. you
