And just a brief review before we begin studying the chapter in particular, I hope that you have noticed, I know we have, that in the opening of this wonderful book, we found God speaking from the tabernacle which had just been erected. And Moses had finished the building of that tabernacle with his people, and the glory of the Lord filled it. And immediately following. We read chapters one, two, three, four, five, and even through seven, where we touched upon the wonderful aspects of our Lord Jesus and his sacrificial death and his saving work to redeem us. Now may I remind you that in those early chapters there was no offerings made, but God told his people in those chapters how they must come into his presence, how they could approach him. So the offerings as we read and studied them had not yet commenced. For it was not until we came to chapter eight we found the institution of the priesthood. For I'm sure you will recognize, without a priesthood those sacrifices could not begin. But without question of doubt they did begin on the institution of Aaron and his sons, as we saw in chapter eight, to the priesthood long ago. So when we realized, God gave his people the manner of approach whereby they could come to him. And we recognized with great joy, we saw the aspects of our Savior's person and its great redeeming work to bring you and me as believers in him, to God and call him our Father, and be in relationship and fellowship with God. It was the desire of God, as we suggested at the beginning, to maintain that fellowship with his earthly people. The great desire of his heart was to manifest through them that he was the living and the true God. As your convenience, you may read Exodus chapter nineteen, and particularly verses five and six, where God tells to the people what his desire and purpose was in redeeming them and bringing them out of Egypt, to make them a nation in happy, holy fellowship with him, so that the nations of the world around could acknowledge that he would be living in the true God. Now after the institution of the priesthood in chapter eight, may I remind you at the close of last week's study in chapter eight at the end of it, when the priests were instituted as such, Aaron and his sons, they were commanded by God through Moses to spend seven days in that sanctuary of the tabernacle, partaking of some of the offerings and being in holy fellowship with God. When we come to chapter nine, will you please notice the opening words of verse one? Following those seven days, we read, it came to pass on the eighth day. Now those priests for seven days could not go out of the tabernacle. They were closed in with God, in fellowship with Him. partaking of the food that he gave them from the offerings which they could use for themselves. And we may recognize that seven days and seven nights, without interruption, they were in fellowship with God. We made the suggestion how precious to realize seven being a number that suggests completion. You and I can recognize, as we mentioned that Aaron and his sons typified, a New Testament application, the church, whereby the church and every individual believer from his and her day of salvation, should live their lives in fellowship and Holy Communion with God. And the whole church is embraced in that typical subjection. the complete age of the church suggested by the numeral seven and the days that were mentioned in chapter eight but when we come to chapter nine we find there's an eighth day and it's a significant day it bursts out into a most glorious manifestation of God's presence and of his glory which we shall see now that is a beautiful type that when the church age is finished, and when the day of glory comes, now may I make mention, we'll see it more clear as we go further in the chapter, the day of the Lord's glory when all the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea. As you find red, you may read it in Abakas chapter two and verse fourteen. And my fellow believer, may I suggest to you immediately, the eighth day would speak to your heart and mind as a believer, the time is coming when the glory of the Lord will be seen in its full completion and manifest ability. Now let me know with me, please, if I may mention it, as you have it. Please know what we read in verse one. Then Moses called Aaron and his sons, and the elders of Israel. On that eighth day he said unto Aaron, Take thee a young calf for a sin offering, a ram for a burned offering without blemish, and offer them before the Lord. And unto the children of Israel thou shalt speak, saying, Take thee a kid of the goats for a sin offering, and a calf and a lamb, both of the first year, without blemish for a burnt offering. also a bullock and a ram for peace offerings that sacrificed before the Lord, and a meat or meal offering mingled with oil, for today the Lord will appear unto you. Now note, first of all, before we go even further, one can recognize Moses addresses for God the whole congregation, including Aaron and his son, the priestly family, The elders or the princes and leaders of Israel, together with all the people, they are all included, as they were in chapter eight of the institution of the priesthood, to witness the event. Thus we can recognize, as you come at the end of that verse, the last we have read, today the Lord is going to appear to you. There's going to be an appearance. Now may I particularly say, what an application that can make for the New Testament truth. Let me quote just one text, as many others can be used. Titus chapter two in verse thirteen, that you and I as believers today are to be looking for that blessed hope and the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ. The eighth day for the church, the eighth day for the saints of this age, is coming. The Lord's going to come. His appearance is going to be manifested in glory. Now what we've already read, please recognize this. Moses emphasizes what God rightly does. The necessity of approaching that time only through the value of the sacrificial work of the altar typifying the glorious work of the Lord Jesus upon the cross for our redemption. And we can fully say, without that redemption, we cannot indeed know that glorious day. In fact, it's not to be a glorious day for the unsaved. But it will be a glorious day for the saints. And we have the sin offering, the burn offering, the peace offering mentioned. Let me go down further, please, in verse five. Go on to read. As we go to verse five and six again. And they brought that which Moses commanded before the tabernacle of the congregation. And all the congregation drew near and stood before the Lord. And Moses said, This is the thing which the Lord commanded that you should do. and the glory of the Lord shall appear unto you. One can recognize very definitely as we go down through this verse. And let me read verse seven, if you please. Moses went on to say unto Aaron, Go unto the altar, offer thy sin offering, thy burnt offering, make an atonement for thyself, and then make the atonement for the people. And offer the offering of the people. Make an atonement for them, as the Lord commanded. Now let me restate again the emphatic truth. Without the value of the sacrificial death of Christ, no man can see the Lord and will ever see His glory. Let me give you some quotations from the New Testament. Do you remember Romans chapter three in verse twenty-three? For all have sinned and come short of what? The glory of God. As sinners, we were not able to see his glory. We came short of him. Let me quote Romans chapter five, verses one and two. You can read it for yourself if you wish. As the Apostle says, therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God. That's one permanent blessing. Peace with God. Then he went on to say, not only that, we're standing in grace, meaning in the face of God now, a permanent blessing. And then he added at the end of verse two, and also have the hope of the glory of God. My beloved, can I just say, please let me say it, I must say it. Look beyond what happened at Mount Sinai, where the temple was erected before that mount long ago, and thus was begun the priesthood and the people of Israel as a nation before God. They saw his glory as it was so manifested there. But let me give you a thought. What will the glory be when the Lord Jesus comes to us? And may I be reminded with you of a verse in Colossians chapter three and verse four. When Christ, who is your life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him? How? In glory? My beloved, the joy of the Lord. They saw the glory of God. We shall see it. Better still, we're going to share that glory with him. When Christ, who is your life, shall our life shall appear, then shall ye believers appear with him of him in glory. Now let me give the illustration from Matthew seventeen. Luke chapter nine, Mark chapter nine, the transfiguration scene. What didn't Peter, James, and John see when the Lord was transfigured? We read the account and we are told they saw his glory. as its face shone in the brightness of the sun, as its raiment was white as the light and glistening. It was the preview of the coming kingdom of glory. Moses and Elijah, representing one could represent the old and the other could represent the New Testament saints. One who had died and the other who went to glory without dying. And there they appeared with him. in glory. So may I bid that you and I look further than what we see here to the great antitype, when you and I shall share and see the glory of the Lord in all of its fullness when he comes. But let's go a little further, please. First we have beginning in chapter eight, Abram making his own sacrifice, going down through verse fourteen. will not dwell upon it. It's really a repetition of what you find in the preceding chapters, where he has to do what God demanded. How he himself, the one thing about Aaron, before he ever officiated, he had to make a sacrifice for himself, which he does in verses eight through fourteen. Now let's go to chapter, verse fifteen rather. After fulfilling that sacrifice, we read he brought the people's offering. He took the goat with the sin offering for the people, and slew it, offered it for sin as the first. And he brought the burnt offering, offered it according to the manner. He brought the meal offering. He took an handful thereof, and burnt it upon the altar beside the burnt sacrifice of the morning. He slew also the bullock and the ram, for a sacrifice of peace-suffering, which was for the people. And Aaron's sons presented unto him the blood, which he sprinkled upon the altar round about, and the fat of the bullet, and of the ram, the rump, and that which covers the inwards, and the kidneys, rather, and the call above the liver, and they put the fat upon the breast, and he burnt the fat upon the altar, and the breast and the right shoulder air and wave for a wave offering before the Lord, as Moses commanded. Now after the offering for himself, here we find him doing that which was necessary for the people, too. But may we emphasize very briefly and concisely, these offerings again represented the Lord Jesus Christ. If I may point out very carefully, Not going into too great detail, but you have the four offerings of the mention. You have the sin offering. You have also the burn offering. You have the meal offering. And you have the peace offering. Each one of them, typical of the Lord Jesus. And his redemptive work. First of all, one can recognize the necessity of the sin offering. Here was the people who was the race of sinners. And of course, naturally and completely was the need that the sin offering be made first, that God might be satisfied with the offering they brought according to his command. And may I be reminded again when you read it, when you read of the sin offering, the fat was removed from the victim, and it was burned on the altar, on top of the burn offering. But the bullock and all the rest of the animal was taken outside the camp and burned in a clean place, completely burned. As much as to be reminding us that sin in the sight of God was hideous and represented that you and I had a place of rejection by him that we should recognize the distance we were away from God. But the fat, the inwards, the cold, and the kidneys and so on, there was always burn upon the burn offering on the altar, was the inward energy of the animal typifying the fragrance of Christ to the heart of God. May I say this? Let me do it. It always blesses my heart to realize the truth. When the Lord Jesus Christ died upon the cross for your sins and for mine, I see two things. I see the awfulness of my sin, nailing into that cross, being responsible for its death. But I also see the worthiness of that blessed victim. That blessed substitute to the heart of God, which was so indicated by the inward contents of the victims, the fat, the call, the kidneys, and so on. That was for God. Remember Leviticus three sixteen, when God says they should never touch the blood and neither the fat. All the fat is mine. said God, why? It spoke to him of the fragrance of Christ. But in addition to the sin offering him, you have the burned offering, where we saw at the beginning in chapter one, that was all for God, the complete, perfect devotion of his dearly beloved Son in life, from birth to death, for him, glorifying him, satisfying him. And please let me remind you again, pardon the repetition, though I should not apologize for it. The burned offering was all together for God. All of it was burned upon the altar. And there was display to God what he recognized was the eternal efficacy and personal essential glory of his sinless son sent into the world to do his will. and never think. What a fragrance it was for him. And then you have the meal offering suggested too. The meal offering, you remember, that speaks of his life. And even that was partaken of by the priest as you read in chapter two. They could partake of some of that. And now you and I feast upon his blessed life of spotless, sinless purity. And then there was the feast offering. where in chapter three we found the priests, they had fellowship. They could have, even the sinner who came to God through the offering could have fellowship with God. And also, and you've got it in our chapter here, where the priests were privileged to have the breath of the victim, as well as the shoulder of the victim, and wave it before the Lord. whereby God saw the value of his only begotten son. Let me give you this thought. He saw two things. He saw the affections of his son doing his will, indicated and typified by the breath offering or the breath wave, the waving of the breath. And he saw the shoulders of eternal strength of his dear son by the shoulder part being heaved up. before the Lord. And my beloved, let me say, that was the part that priests could feed on. The breast and the shoulder part of the offering. And you and I, when we worship, we feed upon Christ and his blessed affection. There's one thing about the Lord's Supper that blesses your soul. You realize the truth. He loved me and he gave himself for me. And we recognize his eternal love toward us as well as eternal strength to save us. For may I say as with the high priest, upon his breast he had the names of the tribes of Israel upon him. When he went into the presence of God, he carried upon his shoulders the names of the tribes of Israel. So our Lord Jesus in heaven above us, our great high priest, carries every child of his upon his heart, the object of his love, and upon his shoulders of eternal strength. and what they joined to realize. That was necessary so their approach to God may be accordingly before they could see his glory. Now please let's note as we go on to verse twenty-two. Now I want you to know something unusual here. Aaron lifted up his hands toward the people and blessed them and came down from offering of the sin offering and the burnt offering and peace offerings. And one can recognize the action of Aaron as the high priest, ministering for the blessing of the people, after the offerings were completed, according to the commandment of God. May I repeat again, you cannot be too strong and too emphatic to acknowledge only through the value of the offering of the Lord Jesus Christ and his sacrificial death. Can you and I be blessed? Let me quote Ephesians one three. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ. May I give you the thought? Well, you can follow it through if you wish, or if you're able to. You can find these offerings in their Blessed Beauty in Leviticus, traced in Ephesians chapter one, two, and three. Recognizing In chapter one of Ephesians, the very introduction tells you what Christ was to God and what he has done for us because of his person. Bless us with all spiritual blessings, and they're in heavenly places in Christ. Where he now is at the right hand of the Father. May I say we've got something better than the Aaronic blessing. the blessings of Aaron. You may remember back in Numbers chapter six and verse twenty four and twenty five, you have the Aaronic blessing that was customary for Aaron to say when he blessed the people. Whether he did it here, we don't know. But the Lord blessed thee and keep thee. The Lord made his face to shine upon thee and be gracious unto thee. The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee and give thee peace. But here he is, blessing the people when the sacrifices are complete. Oh, what a joy to recognize when you and I were saved, when we received that wonderful forgiveness of sins through the offering of our Lord Jesus Christ upon the cross, we were blessed. And thank God for the blessing. But now we have something more precious to follow. Verse twenty-three. Aaron, Moses and Aaron, now please note, Moses is in company with Aaron now. This is not just Aaron, but together with Moses. And please note, the sons of Aaron are not with them. Keep your eye upon Moses and Aaron. Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of the congregation and came out and blessed the people. Now I want you to know something very singular, very particularly. to be noticed. For there's a meaning in it. Why did Moses and Aaron together go into the sanctuary? Why did Moses and Aaron come out of the sanctuary to bless the people? This was not the Aaronic blessing merely. It was Moses and Aaron. Please let me bring out before you. I don't know whether you've ever noticed this. But the word of God in one place and two places. In one place particularly called Moses the King. If you've got your Bible, turn with me to it if you please. In the book of Deuteronomy. In the book of Deuteronomy chapter thirty-three. Deuteronomy chapter thirty-three and verse five. Let me read these words. Beginning at verse four. Connect us with Moses. Moses commanded us the law, even the inheritance of the congregation of Jacob. And he was king in Jeshurun, when the heads of the people and the tribes of Israel were gathered together. Now, there was no such place as Jeshurun, but this was a symbolical name for Israel. And if I could translate it, and I'm sure there's no harm, there's no difficulty in doing it. Moses was king in Israel. And the word of God acknowledged it here. You find the words assurance and another scripture in Deuteronomy too, but not in the relationship of Moses being a king. But the name is symbolic of Israel. Oh, you've got to say, Moses was never king in Egypt, was he? Though perhaps it looked as though he could have had the opportunity. He can only be king over the people of God. And one can recognize surely he typified a king. Aaron on the other hand typified who? A priest. Aaron was only in the priesthood. He wasn't in the royal family. But Moses is here typically suggested as being king and Aaron the priest. Now then you have one of the most beautiful types of the Lord Jesus. Remembering Hebrews, in the book of Hebrews, I'm sure you may remember it very well. Remembering in the book of Hebrews that the Lord Jesus who was spoken of as being a priest after the order of Melchizedek. And Melchizedek, look with me if I may go with it. I think it's the fifteenth of the fourteen chapter, it might be the thirteen chapter in the book of Genesis. The book of Genesis, your first chapter in the Bible, first book of the Bible. And in chapter thirteen, I believe, or maybe it might be chapter fourteen. Yes, chapter fourteen at the end of it. Let me begin reading down at verse six. After Abraham had won a victory over the five kings, Abraham passed through the land unto the place of Sikkim, unto the plain of Moray, and the Canaanite was then Oh, I beg your pardon, I'm reading the wrong way. I've got the wrong chapter. Let me read in verse seventeen of that fourteen chapter. I turned two pages by mistake. And the king of Sodom went out to meet Abram after his return from the slaughter of Kedi or Leoma, and of the kings that were with him at the valley of Sheban, which is the king's dale. And Melchizedek, king of Salem, brought forth bread and wine. And he was the priest of the Most High God, and he blessed Abraham, and said, as you read on, Now here was Melchizedek. Where we came from, we don't know, except we know he was the king in Salem, which was the old name for Jerusalem. But no, he had two offices. He was the king. He was the priest at the same time. And you have that particularly, you have that in your New Testament, you have it corroborated that the Lord Jesus is a priest after the order of Melchizedek, meaning he is both a king as well as a priest. Now why Moses and Aaron being seen by this type, a king and a priest, before they saw the glory of the Lord. Can you find the book of Zechariah, please? The book of Zechariah. Go to the end of your Old Testament and go back two books. And you'll have Zechariah right before Malachi. The book of Zechariah. Let me read in chapter six, if I may. And I want you to notice something that is a prophecy of the time that is coming when the glory of the Lord is going to fill the earth. and the Lord Jesus will be seated upon his throne. Chapter six in the book of Zechariah. I'm going to begin reading, if I may, in verse nine. When the prophet Zechariah writes, the word of the Lord came under me, saying, Take those from the captivity, that's the Babylonian captivity, even Haldai, Tobijah, Jedeiah, which had come from Babylon, Come thou the same day and go into the house of Josiah, the son of Zephaniah. Now note, these men, actual persons, had brought from Babylon materials to help build the house of the Lord back in Jerusalem, which was being rebuilt in that day. And know what the prophet is told. Then take silver and gold and make crowns. Now that word crowns could be called diadems. set them upon the head of Joshua, the son of Joseph, the high priest. And here was the symbolic act. Being done in that day, upon the high priest of that day, Joshua was his name. You have it in chapter three. And then we read on. Speak to him, saying, Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name is the branch. Now you may note in your Bible, as I have it in mind, large capital letters in that name called the branch. This is the title of the Lord Jesus, a prophetic title. You'll find it four times in the prophecies. And this was one of the titles of the Lord Jesus. And Joshua, being crowned in this particular scene, was the type of Christ being shown. And that branch he shall grow up out of its place. And he shall build the temple of the Lord. My beloved, this is not the temple that was being built then. This is the temple of the Lord that is yet to be built, as you may read in Ezekiel chapter forty-five and on, through to the end of the prophecy. The day is coming when Christ shall appear. the Messiah of Israel. And he will build the Millennial Temple. You've got the description of it in Ezekiel chapter forty-eight, particularly. And at the end of the whole description, the last words of the book say, the Jehovah Shama, meaning the Lord is there. And he will be there. Now please note the chapter as we read on. He shall build the temple of the Lord. Even he shall build the temple of the Lord. Now note. And he shall bear the glory. Now link it with our scripture in the book of Leviticus. He shall be the glory. as we quoted from the backer. The knowledge of the glory of the Lord shall cover the earth as the waters cover the seas. And the Lord will sit upon the throne of his glory. But let's read on. And what I want you to note particularly, he shall sit and rule upon his throne. There he is as the king, typified by Moses. Second, he shall be a priest upon his throne, typified by Aaron. And he, and the counsel of peace shall be between both those officers. My beloved, please let me say lovingly, here is the New Testament, well, it's an Old Testament prophecy, but it's the New Testament truth that the Lord Jesus is a priest after the order of Melchizedek, not after Aaron, because only the tribe of Levi and the descendants of Aaron could be high priests. and minister in the temple. The Lord Jesus never ministered in the temple. You will never find that the Lord Jesus went beyond the outer course of the temple. When he's the only of he had no right. He was of the tribe of Judah. But he's the rightful king of Judah. But when God made him a priest, when he ascended on high in heaven, he said, you're a priest after the order of Melchizedek. both king and priests. And one can recognize when he comes back to the earth, he's going to be seen just as Moses and Aaron was in that official site. One a king, the other a priest. And between those two offices as king and priest, the Lord Jesus will reign. The Council of Peace will be between those two offices. He'll be the king, priest. And what a joy to recognize the meaning of it in that in that coming blessed day again let me repeat Moses and Aaron came out and they blessed the people go back to our chapter in Leviticus and come to the end of verse twenty three and when they came out after the sacrifice had been properly made and the commandment of the Lord had been done And they come out to bless the people. And what happened? The glory of the Lord appeared unto all the people. My beloved one today that will be, as we have quoted, when Christ, who is now alive, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory. And when he comes back to the earth, he's coming to be the king priest over all the earth. And the saints are going to share with glory. The glory of the Lord. You have it here. The glory of the Lord appeared unto all the people. My beloved, let me say this. From Romans five, one and two, you'll find again in second Peter chapter one, I think verse five. Let me say this. When you and I come, when you and I are crowned by that blessed Redeemer above, when we see him, When we come back with him to the earth, we're going to be in glory with him. His glory will be shared by us, and we shall appear with him in glory. If you can visualize, and I thank God you don't know no need, and you couldn't even find, that Eastman Kodak calmly made a picture of what happened on the Mount of Transfiguration. But let me ask you a question. How did Peter, James and John know that was Moses, that was Elijah. They knew that was the Lord Jesus. They knew him. There was the recognition that saints are going to share his glory. Now I know what happened when the end of our chapter, though, in chapters nine of Leviticus, when the glory of the Lord was appeared. And there came a fire out from before the Lord and consumed upon the altar the burn offering and the fact, and which when all the people saw they shouted and fell on their faces. A proper position, a proper position to take when they saw the glory of the Lord and the fire of the Lord fell, consuming the fact they found. My beloved, please let me stay carefully. Where did the fire come from? Heaven. Heaven. Let me mention, as you can find in the reading of it, First Kings chapter eighteen. When Elijah prayed on Mount Carmel and offered the sacrifice there to prove who was the living God, in opposition to the kids, to the priests, prophets of Baal, Remember his teachers? He took that altar and built it, put the offering upon it, and called upon Jehovah. You don't have to soak in the whole thing with water. He prayed for God to light the sacrifice. And you read it. Fire fell from heaven, consumed not only the sacrifice, but consumed the altar, and consumed all the water around it, which he had poured around it. Fire fell from heaven. the manifestation of God's power? So was this. He lit the altar. He lit the offering as it was there upon the altar by fire from heaven. If you've got your Bible, go with me to Revelation chapter thirteen. I want you to show you something. Chapter thirteen in the book of the Revelation. You probably all know in that thirteen chapter of the book of Revelation, we have the description of the satanic trinity. The dragon, the beast, and the false prophet. The false prophet, in my humble opinion, is the Antichrist, who will be the false Messiah. Let me begin reading in verse eleven of that one. I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth. This will be during the Great Tribulation. And he had two horns like a lamb, an imitation of Christ. But he spake as a dragon, a satanic instrument. And he exercised us. all the power of the first beast before him is authority causes the earth and then which dwell therein to worship the first beast whose deadly wound was healed now note he doeth great wonders so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of man I want you to realize with me just as in the Old Testament at the beginning When God's fire came down from heaven and consumed the sacrifice, the evidence of his power, here's the imitation of it that is yet to come in the days of great tribulation. When the most abominable, licentious, wicked person, called a man of sin, not a man of sin, a man of sin, will perform wonders. You will read it in second Thessalonians chapter two. He performs wonders, miracles, and it's his limitation to deceive God's earthly people and lead them to follow them upon the Messiah, as well as to get the world to follow him. Let me remind you, if you read the book of Exodus and have read it, you also know that even back then, in the days of Pharaoh, The first three miracles that you read that Moses and Aaron performed, the Egyptian wise men performed it. Also, they did the same. They did the same. Until they could go no further. Until God made one miracle when he turned dust into living life. And they had to admit that's the figure of God. Satan's got his imitation. But he can go so far and no further. But oh, let me repeat, what a sight it must have been to the Israelites of old, when the fire came down from heaven and consumed the sacrifice. God lit the fire. And may I say this, when you and I today pray for the fire of God's blessing to come down, he's the only one that can send it. You can't pump it up. But if you and I are living as we should do, if you and I could only be one we ought to be, in pure fellowship, holy fellowship with God, we see the glory of the Lord in some measure and of its blessing. But the day is coming when our great high priest will come back in all of his glory and sit upon the throne, Moses like, Aaron like, coming out of the temple to bless his people in that coming millennial day. What a joy it is to see the person of Christ and the work of Christ in these Old Testament scriptures. Shall we pray and give God a word of thanks? Our beloved and blessed Father, oh how we thank because of beauties, the glorious sight that we have, of seeing the excellencies of thy dear son. Even in the tithes, they are not all perfect, Lord, we know, but all how they bring out when we study them some of the excellent beauties of thy son. Why will it be, Lord, when all the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of God? The glory of the Lord shall cover the earth. Lord Jesus, let us say one thing before we close. We wish you'd come. We look across the earth tonight. We see the ravages of sin, the result of sin, wars and rumors of war, and wickedness and lawlessness covering the earth. And we say with hearts sincerely, Lord Jesus, even so come and take to thyself the rule and reign of this scene. We thank you, it's coming. We thank you, what we see happening today is only bringing it nearer. And we ask that we who are thine shall love thee, because we know you're coming. And send our hearts upon that glorious truth. I will come again and receive you unto myself, that where I am, there ye may be...
