Thank you and greetings, friends, in connection with the series of those great statements of God the Father, as well as God the Son. I am, I am. We read in Genesis chapter fifteen and verse seven, where God Jehovah spake unto Abram. before his name was changed to Abraham. And in verse seven he said unto him to Abraham, I am, I am the Lord that brought thee out of Ur, of the Chaldees, to give thee this land to inherit it. To inherit it. So here is the great I am of the Lord God. The Lord means the primary meaning, possibly assigned by scholars, is Adon or Adonai, which is Master. And this is the typical in the Old Testament. The Lord is the Master. Oh, that we understood this in our present day by the multitudes of people that inhabit this earth, that the Lord is Master, that the Lord is over all. I am the Lord that brought thee out of Ur of the Caldeans, to give thee this land to inherit it. And that land will be inherited by the descendants of Abram, according to the word of the living God. I am the Lord that brought thee out. There's one great question today, and that is, who am I? But possibly there are two others that perhaps are of greater importance. At least... They have marvelously great import. The first one is, where did I come from? And the second one is, where am I going? These affect eternity, your eternity, and mine. God brought us into birth. Birth starts us into life. Life leads us into death. Death takes us into eternity. Eternity receives us to glory or despair. Glory or despair. Oh, friend, eternity where? God knows where we came from. He sent us here. Just as he said, I am the Lord that brought thee, Abram, out of the Ur of Caldes, in order to give thee this inheritance. God has brought us into birth. Each one of us, in the whole realm of nature today, and life upon the earth of humankind, God has brought each one into birth. God has sent you and me into this world. It's pleasing to send us just where we are. We had no choice in... We had no choice in coming. We had no choice in where we're going to be born. We had no choice in the family to which we would be born. But God has sent us into this world. He has given us the life to live. He has given us life every moment to live. He is the master. He is overall. He is Lord. He is Adoniae. And whether we recognize him or not, depends upon you and me. And what a shame, and what a loss, and what a fatal manner to not recognize God as the Lord God Jehovah, the one who reigns over all the peoples of the earth, and over the universe of God. He's not ever surrendered. It's his by creation. We're his. by his own omnipotent omniscience, his all-powerful knowledge. You and I are here in this world, and here we're here only by his permission. We'll leave the moment he says we've been here the end of our lives. God holds the strings. God holds the destiny as far as life's concerned. And he has brought us into life, as he brought Abram out of the early Calvary's into the promised land. God desires us as free agents. He has made us free agents. He has not forced us to make one decision or another. The Holy Spirit would lead us to put our faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, and order that, when we leave this world, We will be with him in heaven, which is far better, according to the epistles written by Paul the Apostle. He could say, after his conversion on the way to Damascus, after his meeting with God, his personal meeting with the Lord Jesus Christ, when he accepted him as his Savior and his Lord and Master, Paul could write in years later and say he had a desire to depart And to be with Christ, which is far better. He knew where he was going. If we think of us, all of us, each of us, will know where we came from. We came from God. God brought us into birth, into the very family where we've been born. He has given us the birthright. Oh, my friends, the birthright to a place in heaven. Only if we will accept His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, as our sacrifice on the cross, the one who died, that we might live, if we will give Him room in our heart, accept Him as our Savior who died bearing our sins in His own body on the tree, He has made it possible that we will be in that great inheritance that's called heaven. error of the Caledons. Abram was taken away from us, and he was brought into a land he was going to inherit. Now we can't inherit heaven apart from the Lord Jesus Christ, but he is able to give us an inheritance. Peter writes about incorruptible, and undefiled, and it fadeeth not away, reserved in heaven for you. My friends, you have a birthright. according to your Bible and mine, a birthright to a place in the bliss and glory of that place which the Bible says is heaven, the place that's God's throne, the place where the Lord Jesus Christ rose from the dead after being crucified for your sins and mine, and he ascended back to glory to the right hand of the Majesty on high. And Stevens could look up as he was dying from the rocks that were thrown at him by his enemies. He could say, I see Jesus standing at the right hand of Majesty on high. And he went into the presence of the Lord to that place. You can only reach my way of the cross, my way of the Lord Jesus Christ. God could say to Abram, I am the Lord, I am the ruler, I am the master, I am God overall, blessed forever. And he says it to every human being on earth, a life today of God's conscious age. I am God. And there is none there. In Isaiah his prophecy he could write by the Spirit of God. Look unto me, and be ye saved all the ends of the earth. For I am God, and there is none else. Oh, my friends, the great I am of eternity, the great I am God, Jehovah, Adonai, the Master, who can tell us what we must do. The Master tells, he's the one who's in control. And he can advise the servants what he must do, and how to do it, perhaps. And so there's one thing. We must be born again. Marvel not that I said unto thee, said the Savior, to Nicodemus, that grand, noble, honorable gentleman, in John chapter three. And he could say to him, when he was bewildered about the new birth, He could say in verse seven, John chapter three, Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must, am you as T, ye must be born again. Oh, yes, or heaven you'll not ever see. My friend, your Bible and mine tells us, the word of God, your Bible and mine, tells us each and every one that as individuals we must. be born again. He's the master. He's the one whose overall he has made us, and he has given us the birthright to accept Christ as Savior and spend eternity in glory with him. Friend, your decision is all that's required. Will you trust him? Will you receive him as your very own? He died for you. I am the Lord. Father, we thank thee thou art the great I am of eternity, past, present, and future. We thank thee, thou hast given us the birthright to glory by way of the cross, our Lord Jesus Christ, who suffered and bled and died for us on Calvary. May every soul turn to the Lord of hyphen glory, the one who came to give eternal life. as many as receive him. We pray thy blessing upon our country, upon our president, and all who are in authority in our great land. Grant, Lord, that out of the chaos and difficulties that human beings bring upon themselves, our government may again raise its head in righteousness. We pray. And thank thee for all thy kindness to us. That's thy blessing upon our president and every one in authority in this great land as well as the world around us.
