I have a beloved brother who I draw, I open a meeting for night. The last time I had the privilege of sharing a meeting with him, the thousands of miles away from here, over the interior of the jail. I'll never forget some of those experiences. And I have a beloved brother, a dear for me, and just open the inexpressible drawer to the dear, the monthly empty. Possibly most of us know of us. Our brother, Paul, our brother, will come in with some judgment. and has lived for quite a number of years in the interior of Brazil, in all these rooms, for a little while. So it is a great joy to have a legislature for many. And for a little bit of a concert idea, a concert party. The idea, a concert party, in belief in Christ one. comfort and comfort in my people's sake to your God. Preach me comfortably to your esteem on time of the heart, that her water is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned, for she hath received of the Lord's hand, reveled for all her sins. For once it has been the kind and a will of me, so can you, the way of the Lord, make peace in the desert a highway for our God. Every body shall be boundless, and every mountain and hill shall be moved low. And the trumpet shall be made straight, and the rump straight is spring. And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all saints shall see it again, for the month of the Lord has spoken it. The bump said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? For all saints his gift is grand, and all the good things are lost, for the flower of the seed. The grand livery, Because the fruit of the Lord blows upon us. Surely the fruit of the Lord blows upon us. Surely the fruit of his grass. The grass will it. The grass will it. But the word of our God shall stand forever. Old time in the brain of deep time when he steps he up into the high mind. Old tradition of the brain of deep time. Lift up my voice with time. Lift it up. Be not afraid. Say unto the face of Judah, Behold, dear God. Behold, the Lord God will come with strong hands, and his arms shall rule for him. Behold, his reward is with him, and his works before him. He shall feed his flock like a shepherd. He shall gather the lands with his arms, and carry them with his bosom. And so gently he goes, those that are with young. Who hath made me the waters in the hollow of his hand, and he devised heaven with his hand, and comprehended the dust of the earth and the negative, and where the mountains and spirits, and the hills and abound? Who hath directed his prayer that the Lord, for whom his kind words have brought him? For whom did he find him? And who instructed him, and taught him the path of judgment, and taught him knowledge, and taught him the way of understanding, Behold, anointings are as a drop of a bucket, and their countenance is a small gust of a balance. And behold, he put it up to riles as a valuable thing. And anointment is not sufficient to claim, though the boots were off, sufficient for the point offering. All nations before whom are of nothing, and their countenance are of nothing, and their countenance are of nothing, and vanity. So whom then will you like in God? Or what righteousness will you compare on the brink? The workmen went at the grove of an emote, and the ghost must tread as it over her grove, and hence her silver skin. When did the throne passers, but there was no ablation, for it was a tree that will not run. She took it unto him a coming workman to prepare the grove and earth that shall not be moved. Have we not known? Have we not heard? Have we not been told you from the beginning? Have we heard hundreds, hundreds of feet from the farm-boatings of the earth? for the food that put it upon the circle of the earth. I want heaven to run for a grand power, so set it out to heaven with a curtain, and spread it on earth as a temple dwelling. So drink of the princes from the earth, and make of the judges of the earth, and find it. Ye shall not be planted. Ye shall not be shown. Ye shall they stop, and not go through it in the earth. And he shall also grow upon them, and they shall with it. and the girl willing to take him away at trouble. So how then will you like and read, for shall I be deeply said the Holy One, lift up your right on time, and behold, you have to be seen, that bringeth unto it most by number, to promise them all by noon, by the blessings of his might, for that he is strong in power, not one failure. Why, say, sir, old Jacob, and speaketh away, well, my way was kept from the Lord, and my judgment is passed over from my God. I shall not know, I shall not hear, but the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, changeeth not, neither is yours, for a new setting of his understanding, who witheth part of the saints, and for them that at no might do increase its count. Even as ye shall change and be theirs, and the young man shall utterly fall. For things that work upon the Lord shall remain as friends. Then shall run up with wings and wings, they shall run and not be dead, and they shall walk and not sin. The passage we are very very, again, it's one of the most beautiful to be found anywhere in God's word. It is divine, difficult to find more beautiful language than the words that we have read together. There's just one very particular note out of this beautiful passage from Isaiah that I want to speak out tonight. It's the ministry of the shepherd that we find in chapter eleven. He shall feed his flock like a shepherd. He shall gather the land with his army and carry them into prison and shall dwindle me, those that I was young. I want to speak for a little part of the mind of the fourfold ministry of the shepherd that we find in this lovely bed. First of all, it's a ministry of food. We shall feed his flock like a shepherd. It's a ministry of food. And then, secondly, it's a ministry of gathering. A gathering minister. He shall gather the lambs with his line. And then it's a comforting minister. He shall carry them on his way. And then finally, it's a minister of those who shall dwindle me, those that I was young. So this is particular with what we want to speak of tonight. The twelve-year minister of the Greek Catholic that we find in his lovely dress. But again, we want to give the bank run through the campus. We have been pointing out night after night that we can make the cost out of its context and keep anything under the sun. And we certainly don't want to take pictures out of its contents at all. And what I want to do is just, just like to tie a moment to a tour, the commencement of our new dance, and giving a little outline of the burnt ground will be fine with this lovely dress. Sir Tom George, we are commenced for the first time. We are in the same phrase. And I would just like to point out just in a word of two, what we have been going over in this lovely process. In the process I go, we get a complete outline of the first man was of the Lord Jesus. Isaiah has been called to be an angelic prophet, and someone has said that his name means, be the third. You know, I have a lovely little room that you'd love to sing. And every time I hear a song, it always gives me a prayer. Be the third. And particularly, we've got some new students, if you're planning to hear the North of Ireland, it is always giving me a prayer that he has come. Be the third. That is the meaning of Isaiah's name. And from the beginning of the prophecy to the end, he speaks about Christ. And everything connected with the Lord's music and its personal work, we find in this lovely prophecy. Now on Lord's Day afternoon, we were pointing out that we find it in three sections. And from the afternoon, we spoke a little while about the first section, from chapter seven to the end of chapter eleven. But some clothes went too strong. He got the song of the vineyard in chapter five. And he got the song of the wells of salvation in chapter twelve. And then the seventh, he received beautiful songs of the commencement of Isaiah's prophecy. He went to Terran, Emmanuel. And then he got also the Terran, Emmanuel's reign. Until that time, he did a few and a few and eight. And he was concerning the person of the Lord Jesus. Chapter seven, his virgin birth. Chapter nine is concerning friendship. On chapter eleven, he finds he could choose part of the chain of death his relationship to the people of Israel. The first one is virgin birth, his relationship to mankind. The second one is his eternal friendship, his relation to the Godhead. And in chapter eleven, the feet out of the scale of Gentiles, his relationship to the people of Israel. So it's complete in itself. It's a little bit inside of a book. And you might call it the book of Emmanuel. So that's a complete outline of the person of the Lord being with his virgin birth, his eternal friendship, and then his relation to the people of Israel. So in our time we were speaking about the king. And from chapter twenty words to the end of chapter thirty five, again we get a little book inside of a book. It's complete in itself. And again it's enclosed in two songs. And up at the beginning we find that this passage concerning the farm-bosing stone. For old I-boring zines a farm-bosing stone, twice, twice it. a few corners strong, and who that the Lord from him shall not make with, or shall not be confined with, to get that in chapter twenty-year. And when in chapter thirty-two, he will get the king. A man and the king, and the king, and the one who is going to sit upon the throne, and the king, he will be the prophet from the temple, a herdinger from the temple. are covered from the sky, as rivers of water and dry flow, and the ones we shall be the shelter of a great rock and a weary land. There again we get the king. And then in chapter thirty-three, we get that lovely key there, try and I shall see the king in this year. So in this second section of the prophecy, it has to do with the king and the king bank. All we did last night was just throughout a few suggestions in our lovely section of Isaiah's prophecies concerning the tomb of the Lord Jesus Christ. Now tonight, we have entered into another part of the prophecy from chapter four though, to remember chapter sixty-six, is that the third section of the Proverbs is a section concerning the person of the Lord Jesus. Now here, it's not so much this person as we find in the first section. It's not so much to come as we find in the second section, but what we get here is the servant, the servant of Jehovah. And as we've been pointing out that we went along in this section of Isaiah's prophecy, we get seven beautiful pictures of the Lord Jesus. And the first one we have read here tonight is called the Shepherd. He shall see his flock like a shepherd, who shall gather the lands with his arms, and carry them with his burden, and shall dwindle the road, those that are with young. The mother and I, God willing, we want to speak about them as a singer. And some of the great songs that we find in the prophet Isaiah. We want to speak about fairly strong. There are seven of them all together in the prophet Isaiah. But we get the singer himself. We get the Lord's leaders as the leader of three, the king chapter forty-two. In chapter forty-nine, he was a soldier. The one who was a polished man, a woodman, a quiver. And the greatest military of conflict in chapter forty-nine. In chapter thirty, he was a scholar. He was a scholar in Dr. Kuhn. And some of those lessons that he learned, as the reader was opened morning by morning, the reader of the learner. On how he was not a beggar, the reader turned away back. On how he was a pastor that smitered. on which peace for them was plucked off their hair. But the very central prophecy concerning the person of the Lord Jesus, concerning the servant, is in chapter fifty-three. On God's rowing on Thursday night, we want to speak about the magnificent Ravallion, of the appalling death, the veterinary death, the victorious death of the Lord Jesus upon every cross that you're finding in chapter fifty-three. Chapter fifty-one, in chapter thirty-three. the panties of the lord himself opened up at the inauguration of his ministry in luke chapter four when he opened the scroll the scroll of the prophet angela who read the words that are found in chapter sixty one he deliberately looked for the first and when he had found it he read the spirit of the lord is upon me he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor deliverance to the grave broken-handed you remember how he opened the prison doors for those who were born on the priest for a tenth of a year of the lord that's chapter sixty one and on the final great prophecy of the servants in isaiah they found in chapter sixty three the man with german side who comes from bosra and from edith There we get the long battle line at the Battle of Aramaed and it's crying, a battle line of about two hundred and fifty miles from Bonsra to Eden. For he deals with his enemies as the king's men redeemer, Avengers, at the end of the book. And then we get the completed picture of the servant of Jehovah. And just for a little while tonight, we want to read the first picture. So we get the Lord Jesus of the shepherd, the shepherd of his flock, and the shepherd of his flock. and to serve those ministers among the kingdom. And just a word of you about the chapter itself. In order to get a clear idea of the teaching that we find in verse eleven, we need to take the chapter as a whole. Remember how it opens with these words, comfort you, comfort me, my Jesus. And we get that lovely word, pardon. For the nature of her forgiving her sinless pardon, she hath received, if the Lord can, double for all her sins. The chapter opens with silence, and then you remember how it closes with prayer. Four of you had time tonight to speak for a little while about that mid-medicine passage concerning prayer at the end of the chapter. I think we get to see some things there that would thrill us to the very core of our being. The tension we get there concerning prayer, and the one being with prayer, and the development of pardons, and at the end of prayer. Under the central part of the passage, we get the power of God in creation. First of all, pardon, then we pray. And in the center, we get power. So five things said about creation here, and I do wish that sometimes some of our scholarly brethren would pick up this passage and speak about creation as you find it in the center part of the passage. i can't imagine anybody here through studying the central part of isaiah chapter four there is one foreign creation that was of any guide at all about the inspiration and the authority of the first three chapters of the bible you can have brought the four of you in detail Not only do we get the power of God in creation, but we get the whole Trinity mentioned. God the Father, and God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost is mentioned in this passage. All brought together in this three-fold word. Pardon us for the winning, and prayer at the end, and the power of God in creation in the central part of the passage. And here, right in the chamber, we get the word, we shall save this flock like a shepherd. In particular take of younger ones in the leading Greek domain, I would just like to say that there is a difficulty in the first paragraph in the chapter concerning this word, hand hath the food of the Lord's hand, double, for all, for things. If you were to pick up a commenter, most of the commenters have never been written in this chapter. And by the way, I'm not here tonight to contradict the commenters. Some of the rather presumptuous thing to do. And maybe they're not even saying too. But you know, sometimes when you pick up a commentary and read it, you must be liable to be led astray by the ideas that some man had. And the usual teaching of our preceding devil at the beginning of the passage here is that Israel was punished double for all the things that she had committed. And that she had suffered, gone in battle, and doubled for all her sins, and her apostasy, and her departure from God. And the whole idea is that a man who sins against God is a devil in payment for the sin that we have committed. So I don't think it's not the teaching of the passage at all. It's not the fact that we make a sin, it's not his teaching. It's the idea that if a man commits a sin that he must suffer in payment to himself for the sin that we have committed. That's not the teaching of the passage at all. If you were to do a little bit of investigation, connected with that word devil, you'll find this. There are two Hebrew words for double in the Old Testament. On one hand, repetition, just the same as we have the threefold meaning in the word a day. Double, it means twice, twice over. If the note is another word, in the Old Testament, it means to fold over. And we use the same word in our English language, third. We take a piece of cloth and we double it, and we fold it over. And if the word is used in connection with the tabernacle, you remember the coverings upon the tabernacle. One of those coverings turned on and turned on over the front of the tabernacle, and then it was lifted up, and it was doubled, and it was folded over the top to form the door of the tabernacle. You find it also in connection with the great place. And remember the worm in the summons that was placed in the little fold of the peacefully ground behind the great place. And the same word is used there. It means to fold over. It means double, something to but double and fold it over. And that is the word that means here. You know, in times when you find it right, the problem you get here is an old bankruptcy tax bank. Among the Jews, for example, a man who invented difficulty through debt or through bankruptcy or some other difficulty, he was in financial trouble. So take all those debts that he had out and get it on a piece of string. or a piece of parchment, and I could keep up on some publishes to let everybody see the death, but that man had to be alerted. But those are going to end, that those deaths were wiped out. the man was able to get the money just in his death, or the bankrupt state had been mis-regulated through hard work or in any other way. The money had been good. They took the document on the folder that over, on the news that had been driven through the document, it was filled up, and then it was calmered and again, and was clammered up against the two or the place where it had been used. And the expression, the idiomatic expression that was used in connection with the Lord, who had received travel. She has received our book. The thing has been lifted over. It has been taken away. I think you get the same idea when we are talking to the Colossians. Concerning the work of the Lord Jesus on Calvary's trial. We read about the law, and we read about the things that were against us. The Old Commandments and the things that were against us, we have taken it out of the way, mailing it to His cross. We have the same devil for all our sins. And thank God, the documents on which their sins have been publicly propagated, it has been several, it has been folded over, and it is a new home, and the tag has been taken away. The people of Israel, who is? they had received with the Lord's hand jumbled for all their things. But the commencement is Friday, and at the end is the resource of the believer in prayer. And the almighty God in fighting his people to come and to approach him in prayer at the end of the chapter, but right on the center, to get the complete new work of the Lord Jesus Christ in this fourfold ministry of the each chapter the month of Jesus. Now, for a little while, this is what we want to speak about. And I can't imagine a more delightful subject in the Bible than to speak about the deep shepherd. All thanks, God, this lovely passage that brings before us a four-fold ministry of that one that we love to call the Great Shepherd. And the Great Shepherd. And the Great Shepherd. And the Great Shepherd of the sheep. And when we look at this fourfold manuscript, I turn over to the New Testament scriptures, I think that each clause brings before us a chapter in the New Testament. As a matter of fact, there's a whole chapter in the New Testament for each one of these clauses that this is the commentary on it. Who shall feed his clause like a shepherd? I think that's John chapter twenty-one. For the death of his commission is the given to Peter after he has been restored to the Lord. Never the truth. Take food to the truth. We find a peaceful commission that has given the truth as it's food, food, food, food. Feed my truth. And I think the commentary on the first cloth was defined in John chapter twenty-one. Who shall feed his cloth like a shepherd? And then he shall gather the land with his land. I think the commentary on that in John chapter ten. There we get the gathering men of faith of the deep shepherd. We want to speak about that in a moment or two, and the difference between the foes and the flock that we get in John chapter ten. We shall gather the lands with his eyes. And then the third one is, we shall carry them in his bosom. And we want to commentary on that. All we need to do is to turn over the good chapter sixteen for the deep shepherd when they're down to the truth of his life. And when he found it, he put it upon his shoulders. And as somebody has said, when you have that chief across his shoulders, it's said, within his bosom, and he brought it back again, brought it back home. So in Luke chapter fifteen, there he will get the ministry of comfort of the good shepherd. And they will be sent home again. And then the final clause, he shall gently leave. Those that are the young. And if you want to comment on that, all you need to do is to turn over the first Peter's chapter five. For there you get the ministry of guidance on comfort and health of the only shepherd, following the example of the great shepherds of the good. So just for a little while, should let's take a brief foreclosure, the work of the deep shepherd, or his sheep, on the front, as a ministry of first. You know, if anybody would ask me today, what do you think of the greatest need among the people of God? There's quite a number of elders, brethren, and gentlemen, that possibly have more experience in the work of God than I have. I can see some brethren here tonight, man that I would call, fathers in the church, so glad to see them here. And beloved brethren, if I would ask you tonight, what is the greatest need among the people of God today? I wonder what you've said. Well, if you return the question right up to me and say, what do you think? I would say that the greatest need among drunk people today are the church's church. You know, everywhere you find people hungry, And sometimes we complain about empty seats in our hall. Or maybe I'll bury the people that will come to a ministry meeting. Because one thing that we have realized again and again and again, any man who has a ministry has preached for God's people and preached to the people of God, he has no trouble at all in pulling a hall. And I believe to speak to that, not push through before God sees it. And when it said the word of God through an undisputed building up minister for the people of God on a major road, he will find his response in the heart of God through. And I believe today that the greatest news among the people of God today is that three days. Three thousand days has dropped. You know, it's an interesting thing to turn over to the Old Testament and examine The seven Samans that behind them wrote that same scripture. Now, if somebody's trying to do that tonight, this night can occur. You remember the famine that caused Abraham to go down to Egypt. And then you remember the famine in Egypt itself. Joseph was the first controller at that time. And then you remember the famine in the book of Luke. from El-Siena to remember how he left. Bentley-Him Judah, Boaz, if it left, Bentley-Him Judah, the land of Boaz, I will remind you more of on the front of a town. And all over the Old Testament that you will find salmon here and salmon there, and there's a connective line of people, and connectively each one of those towns. For the Maghrib of Amar, we'll read about another town, and that is a town for the word of God. And all today, as we look at the people of God in every part of the world, God's will, people are under. And there's a tremendous change everywhere for as simple as possibly meant, those of God's holy word. There have been some of that very often in the history of the Lord Jesus, the people of this right thing. And the first one is right in those third, all of the discourse of the Lord Jesus came in Matthew chapter twenty-four. Do you remember how the Lord went up for the month and taught in Matthew twenty-four on the way to come to church after coming again? I don't know what you feel about Matthew twenty-four and twenty-five, but touch me, I'm quite sure that we get there in June all the teaching from saying the Lord Jesus is coming back again, first of all for the Jews, and then for the Gentiles in relation to the world, and also for the church of God. I believe that all three are included there. It must be twenty-four and twenty-five. And in German, the teaching of the Lord Jesus on the mountain top, he speaks about his coming back again on that threefold way. But what in the same way he speaks, he mentions a little parable. And he speaks about who is not wise and faithful servant, whom we have trust over the high school that God has given food in this evening. But if our servant shall say, my Lord, the Lord is coming, And instead of giving them food and drinking, I would be telling them to drink. I'm going to drink. This fellow says, leave us on the right from Frank again. He will deal with him. And he will tantrumize affairs for the drinking and national food. You know, sometimes that was a mystery to me. Why, when we bear that a man who actually has the responsibility for giving service to the people of God, that actually is from the Lord's name, Santa John, he was cast out into a place where there was wheat and a mountainous wheat. I believe that the teaching of the carnival is this, that a man who does that. He would get up and preach and thank the people of God. I believe a man has actually lived through his foundation. To find her that he belongs to the Lord is our own enough, for that he is a born-again man. He said he not a shepherd. And what he said in the Gospel according to Matthew is perfection. He said that from beginning to end. And the man who had set a journey forth to the people of God on building him up, said he was continually preaching in front and his fellow servant, I believe, a man like that should look to himself and into a trap to find out whether he was really born again or not. Whether he was a little bit of a matter in him at all. But the two words there, if he said, to the giving of food in the Bible, is that of the word household, first of all, on them, to give them meat in Jesus. Now that word household, those of you that study the New Testament, and if you know the original word that you said, the world of peace for household in that particular country, as far as I know, only occurs again in the book of Revelation. An appearance in connection with the tree, but with the midst of the paradise of garden, leaves of the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nation. Now, the word healing, the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nation. And the word heart-soul in nineteen seventy-four is exactly the same word. The word is serotonin. Now, the word is used very frequently among ourselves. We talk about serotonin or serotonin, the signs of healing. I said, set over the household of God. I mean, I hear this, but the household of God is the place where they should be a ministry of healing. And if I get up among the people of God to open the word and say, help the people of God, I should ask myself the question, how am I healing, God's people, because the ministry of healing? I'm going to pray for them to give them and do so when he sees them, I should ask myself the question, oh, is it a ministry of healing? First of all, healing and then food. Now, this is the very solemn thing. And the Lord needs to speak to you of the defensive ministry in view of the coming-backer gang. The man who has the responsibility over the high school of God to give him food. It should be a ministry of feeding, and it should be a ministry of healing. Part of one, perhaps. Because another one has been mentioned many times. And we can say this time, we're speaking about men. We say, And this time for red. We read about the Lord Jesus there and speaking to his disciples. He speaks about the father on the throne. He says, If a son would come to his father and say, Would he give him a bread? He asked for bread. He said, For bread would he give him a stone? And he said, Would he ask for an egg? For an egg would he give him a sermon? And he said, If he would ask for fish, for fish would he give him a scorpion? Now notice that there is six things there, and the three on the one side, and the three on the other. It's the bread, and the cake, and the bread. And then alongside of that is the stone, and the serpent, and the scorpion. What do you think these things represent? Well, bread is first, it's the staff of life. What a thing, such as something that goes along with the bread. And what is it? An ear. Well, it's the people in the Lord's way. It was a luxury item. An ear. But I believe that these three things, they have a spiritual meaning behind them. What a prayer. As far as ministry is concerned, it's a staff of life. It's just normal teaching. You know, years ago, when we were young people, there were men who moved around among the assemblies in this country, And I don't need any apology for mentioning some of their names. I'm going to give up the Minister of the Word of God for this prayer. I remember Mr. C.F. Hogg right here in the city of Belfast, giving a series of addresses on the ascertainment of their own. You know, I don't know how many would be able to stand that kind of minister today. Maybe some of the young people would nod their head and say, you know, that kind of thing is partially deep and it's over her head and we don't understand it. But it was prayer. It was real solid food. And I remember Mr. Howe singing through, a dear man of God, if ever there was one, a think of God, if ever there was one, I have heard a minister from the gospel according to my heart. And practically every event that he did was inexorably impressed upon my mind. Some of his events, as I was almost to keep my heart, there may be such a tremendous impression upon my mind. It wasn't just hopping around here and there. And you know, the kind of thing sometimes that we get for a minute or two to go is a little verse lifted out of its contact too. And another little verse lifted out of its contact too. And another little verse lifted out of its contact too. And it's a nice little sermon all put together, completely lifted out of its contact until the thing mine was an admirable. It wasn't as wonderful. I wouldn't want to say anything to try again about any passage of the Word of God, but that is not there. I believe that the transgressive, transgressive, systematic, transgressive ministry of the Word of God, will write through the scriptures on expanding it very far away. See this content. That is where. And that is when it says, But the Pentecostal God of its context, or what you might call a concordance sermon. A little word here, a little word there, and a little word somewhere else. That is not building up an insect. But there is a consensual, consensual, expository ministry of the Word of God, not a dread. The Lord brings up me on among us today with its tables to open up the Word. And here it is, this, consensual, expository ministry of the Word of God, that build us up. And our most holy spirit, not a dread. But you know, if somebody were to get up and sit down and get a little rolling, and get me to fly in front of you, people will say, well, that's just you'll see her head. On the shoulder head, we'll come out, but after all, we need practical minister. Well, I agree, absolutely. And I think it must be good. The second I am to get fixed. Trish is what goes along with the bread. You know, every man for a day, he'd have her share it. She'd call it a t-shirt. That is the living room that they'd call it a t-shirt. And it's a word that means much. But you know they have another word and we call it ombalere. And ombalere is a relic that goes along with a much. Much that's made out of corn mill or else that's made out of mandiach mill. And three hundred and sixty-five days on the year they have two push-ups. But you know if they want their ombalere to go along with them, they put up. Because we did the nothing but eat pizza. That was only a year, and after that, and we turned his nose up at it. Or we want something to go along with it. We want the umbrella to go along with the... to go along with the... to go along with the... to go along with the pizza. Another straight idea there is the bread, and then there's the fish. In many parts of the world today, the staple diet is a local flavor, and it's certain food, and it's maybe a fish that goes along with it. And it's the amber layer. That the layer should go along with the bread that makes it tired, although I don't really get the practical application of the doctrine. But then what is the name? Well, any of you can think and hear. You know, an egg spiritually taken, if you take an egg, and you put it onto a hen. And you let the hen sit on it for twenty-one days, I think it is. I'm not a pilot. I know it's a multiple of seven, but I think it's twenty-one days. If you put the egg underneath the hen, and it sits on it, and after twenty-one days, it passes its eye, and you get really solid meat. part of the age that's sitting underneath of him. So every time I go to a meeting like this, or I go to a conference, I always carry a little piece of paper in my Bible. On some part of the sermon, the minister's a word. And he gave some little suggestion that I've never heard before, and I made a note of it on the piece of paper. I've gotten in. And maybe, in the course of his ministry, he made another suggestion I've never heard before, and I write that down too. I bet he is. And then I made another suggestion of some idea that I have never heard before, and I write that down too. And in the course of the meeting, I might get half a dozen eggs. And I take it home. And I keep it going. And I read my Bible, and I search it here, and I search it there, and get a few illustrations connected with it. And before you know where you are, you get really solid meat, part of the suggestion by the God. Now that's an egg. It's an egg. It's a bread. On the fish. On the egg. But on the other side, it's a strong... on the serpent, on the dragon. Have you ever heard anybody getting up on a meeting and throwing a few stones on the dragon? You know, a stone is hard. And you don't need to hurt people over there, but there's an easier thing in the world sometimes for me to get up here and pick up a few stones. It's dry, on a hard, on a high trunk, the few stones among the dragon, like it hurts here. are that if you leave this meeting tonight, so you walk through that door and you make up your mind, I'll never return back again. That's the easiest thing in the world to get thrown instead of a bread. Instead of bread. And there's all the difference in the world between bread and stone. And then the next few items here is a serpent and a scorpion. You know, the difference between a serpent and a scorpion is that the serpent has the poison that has the sting in its mouth. But the scorpion has the sting in its teeth. And there's a big difference between the two. I happen to know something about the king of the scorpion. And although I'm not here to tell African stories here tonight, but one night there was a lot of Africans coming into the place where we were living after death. And I had to get them some food. And I held it into a little large heart at the back of the heart. And I had some potatoes there among some, a thin of food. And I knew exactly where to go together. And I was sitting with the potatoes out of the ground. And suddenly, between these two fingers, Something hit me. It just sounded like a red-hot poker. And I knew it would be that I had seen it or it started. I started for somebody to come. And a friend was there at the time. And the team was in the last week's park. And John led me to go into the game. And there was a problem in the setting where it fell out. Revisedly where it fell. Now, I have had different experiences in life where we've had to suffer this and that in the other thing. But I don't think I ever suffered such an excruciating pain in my life. of the sting of the scorpion. I was treated for a snake bite for it. And the friend that was there, he was treated me just against the finger that the finger had been bitten by a snake. For two weeks, I had no feeling in my arm. It was completely numb at the time my shoulder. And the pain I suffered was absolutely excruciating. And it was only after a month that the feeling came back into my arm and I was able to use it again. So I think I know a little bit of what the sting of the scorpion is. It's a horrible thing. And it's one of the most painful things imaginable. Now, it's critically strange. I'm not going to state about the poison of the serpent. But here, he's at the start again, staying with us through. You say, what does that mean? You know, one time in a certain set-up, there was a girl that I had known for many years. She came to the city and went away for some time. He came back to the sitting and said, look, if I'm going to a certain assembly, I said, I'm going to have a week of meeting. And it was him himself, who invited himself to the grave. The solicitor that we could meet him, and I'm talking to him about it, he said, Believe me, he said, before that week got over, he said, I'm going to throw a bombshell. I was so surprised at how they were in his hands. I said, Bro, you're going to be quiet. He said, before the week's over, he said, I'm going to throw a bombshell. I said, what do you mean? He said, he don't know the kind of people that they have. And it goes from Monday and Tuesday and Wednesday on Thursday, he said, I'm going to minister along a certain line. But he said, believe me, before I'm through, I'm going to let him have it. And I'm just exactly what he did. And the Monday and the Tuesday and the Wednesday and the Thursday was to minister beautifully among the people of God, under his light. But on the Friday, on the last night he was dead, he threw his bombs down. And I'm asked to try to say, that he left that ascended. That ascended among themselves and swarming on a season twenty years to get over that nation and flatten out of ministry. And that's the thing that is present. The thing is in the field. And you know, any man who has a responsibility for the ministry of God's word, he has to be awfully careful. That is the food that comes from the shepherd from the risen head. That is bread on fish on earth instead of stone on serpent on scorpions. It's something very solemn, dear. I'm never the same, but I am. It's something that each one of us can take to a heart for money. Those of us who have the responsibility of ministering the word of God are trying to help the people of God. There's my honesty, the ministry of the deep shepherds. We shall see his flock like a shepherd. All of her delightful that is. That's what he did. We beg him. And this is David and this is Moses did and this is Jacob did. We were shepherds. They send the flock of God. Our time has just gone so rapidly. We'll get past the high heart of his feet about the other three before we close. The last one we have here is he shall gather the land of the God. You know the servant that we find in the sanctuary of the prophet, we find perfectly every part of this body of God. We read about this man. We read about a man. We read about his brethren. We read about his feet. We read about his tongue. You read about his name, you read about his faith, you read about his faith. You read about, first in the part of his body, you read about his baby. He's ridden with more miles of pain and more, and it's far more than the sum of his name. Now it's a sign that he uses here in Galilee. As far as the hand of the shepherd is concerned, it's the hand of healing in salvation. I'm going to secure this. We don't have a wrong John chapter saying, but a gathering of the land to use his eyes. The arm of Christ, seven times used in the prophet Isaiah the arm of the Lord. We get it moved there. And we get it straight first. But we're accused in gathering, gathering the land of his own. Paul has a life for little to think that he not only saved him, but he gathered him together. And this is his ministry in the tenth chapter of the Gospel according to John. When there's a difference between the fours and the flocks, You know, sometimes in our home we talk about the teaching brought to the fold. And sometimes our home will go very far astray as far as the teaching of Scripture is concerned. The fold of the Old Jewish fold. And it was just, it was just cancerized by a certain conference by a wall. But that's about it. That was the cold. But from the deep temperature, she came to the, the deep cold, and was into the door. And what did he do? He called his own chief by name. And he read them out. Now he said to the minister. She called the millennium, and she left the mouth of the foe. That is the old green foe. And she remarked, Instead of doing a foe, it was a flock. And that was characterized by the shepherd, as the central attractive part. They went up with the shepherd. And he was the shepherd. And instead of doing the foe, the old green foe, it was a flock. Characterized by the shepherd, another the person, of the deep shepherd himself. All the gathering in this place. The daring magistrate of the Duke Stafford, under a type of fire of his iron, and looming the mud, looming the mud of the foal to himself, to the flock instead of coffers of the old Greek foal. Remember that what we find when Christians on the road are all kinds of foals. Chalzeriah is each one of their watertight compartments. That's exactly what a denomination is. But the man who learns the difference between the foal and the flock, and the priesthood who get in John Chaucer's land, He realized that the gathering center of God's people is not so much a denominational, a denominational wall, but it's a gathering center that the person who is separate himself in the center, unresented of him, and he follows him because he is to be scattered, to gather, to gather the land with the Zion. And then he turns in his ruler. So this is Luke chapter fifteen. Jesus comes to the ministry of the Lord Jesus. Hundreds of brothers keep in this country a little while ago in another country. I'm thinking about it. We pointed out that in chapter forty-six, we read about Lord Jesus, carrying full people. So even your whole village will I carry you in chapter forty-six. I have never noticed that before. But you know, when I brought the nation back, I got a name. And I took it home, and I read the passage, and I said to myself, well, it must be exactly what we read about in connection with the lamb and come to warn it. Who shall gather the lambs with the garment? I carry them in her clothing. We carry them. But the delightful thing is this, that even the whole head will I carry you. On the one hand, it's the lamb that's carried, but on the other hand, it's the old person that's carried. You know, there are two kinds of people that need separate clothes. Sometimes the people that need shepherd care, and one is the lamb. And the other is an old person. Why the spirit so dreadful, the devil is a bright year and down fast, you have scared us. And you know, because of the life of him, you see some poor, poor saints coming to the one that they're doing this well-taking care of. I believe it's a good act of faith. On those that are engaged in this work, the prayer for the ears of saints, among the people of God, for me, it's a delightful work, and the work of the deep shepherds, But do not only carry the land, but he carries the old, seasoned or bored here is the right area. And he carries it right along. At the end of the passage, the connection of the young man, the reader by them running. And the reader by them flying. And the reader by them walking. At the end of the passage, but right here in the sand, it says the land that's carried. He picks them up. And he carries them through the wood building. That's a comforting ministry. And just a word in closing, this man, close up to that. We shall gently raise those that are young. And for the sake of time tonight, I'm not going to speak of our guests. I've been strongly tempted to do that on some of the fifth principles in the Bible connected with the general minister of the Greek Sabbath. But I want to emphasize on a little word in closing. We shall gently raise. We shall gently raise those that are young. I never think of this kind of, but I think of something that happened in my early life. I left home. As you know, when I was quite young, never had been away from home before. Twenty years in Portugal. And after that year of language study in Portugal, I got on board a trip. I went after that. I was alone. And the first thing I took my trip in African soil was in the city of Luanda in West Africa. And when I went to shore, I saw an old man standing on the dockside. And I could tell by the very look of his face. And his true appearance under the mirror, I could tell it was the north of Ireland now. He wouldn't need to open his mouth. But I mean for the very appearance of the man just where he came from. And I'm going to tell you what it looked like. But you know it was himself and wherever you see it. And then he was standing on the dockside, there it went west again. Now if you want to see it, it seems on a blank line. And I walked over to him, he looked at me, this is where you come from. I said, I've come from Jerusalem and Portugal. Because if you're not a Portuguese, where do you come from anyway? Well, I said, I was born in the north of Ireland. It is what type of you come from, and I told him. It is what's your name? And I told him my name. And then he came from the middle of the man's eyes and said, what is your father's name? And I told him. He said, look at your grandfather's name. And I told him, now he says, I knew your grandfather. He said, over fifteen years ago, over there in the north of Ireland. This man, he came from a little safe, calm, locked person down there in front of God. His name was Robert Steed. And the son of the head, my name, and I mean my people. He said, come on up to the hut. And he took me up to the structure at home on the top of that hill there in the land there. And he sent me down to the table and he gave me a good name. Now he says, I want to tell you, he says, but I'm a Methodist. And he said, I've spent my life among the Methodists here in West Africa. He said, I've lived in forty-nine years of pioneer work, years. And I said, I want to tell you a story. This is after we've been getting to the news. I was reading there and going fifteen hours further down the coast, he said, I was reading. He said, you know, many, many years ago, he said, open the mouth of Ireland. He said, God showed me. And he said, I was healed, the one who made it. He read the Bible again. And I said, how far I got healed? He said, I started to read my Bible. And he said, I became baptized about believers' baptism. He said, I knew that that was the carding of the Christian of the Word of God. And he said, not only that, but he said, in reading the Bible, he said, I became disturbed about my connections. And he said, I felt that I wanted to associate myself with the living company of God's people over in my native land. He said, there was two men preaching in the camp. Not far, he said, from where I was. And he said, that's mine. After I learned about the camp, he said, I went there on a reunion. And I listened to the preacher. And he said, after the preaching was over, I stayed behind. And I told him to drive in about my extra friends, that I wanted to be about friends, and I wanted to associate myself to the group that is there, to the assembly. And he said, I'm trying to tell you. He said, I'm trying very hard on paying things to me because I have been killed among the men of this phenomenon. And he said, I'm trying hard on paying things to me. He said, I was angry. And he said, I walked out of the church. And I made up my mind. I met who would push my foot in the church like that again. He said, I have trained forty-nine years to entirely admit me were here in that country. And he said, I accept my word. He said, I have never gone back again to understanding. And I said, don't misunderstand me. He said, I'm not excusing myself. He said, I know what the word of God teaches. And I said, I know what the word of God has to say about believers' baptism and about gathering in the Lord's hands. And I said, I know them things. And I said, I enlarge myself to be diverted from every part of my Christian experience by the on-time treatment of those two men. And they said, I know that I have to think up to that and to get complete height. They said, I want to give you a bit of a bite. They said, give you a young name. And they said, you're starting off. You're a Christian for me. They said, you've landed here in Africa for the first time. And they said, it's a bit of a crunch that I want to give you. And they said, it's this. In all your dreams, with all your dreams, particularly those, you don't gather in the same way as you do it. They said, I want to tell you, always be kind. Always be gentle. and always be cautious. He said, that doesn't mean to serve. He said, but you need to be unfaithful to the word of God. He said, our God has taught you that his word. He said, all we feel loyal, unfaithful, and true, true. But he said, my heart to you is it, as a young man. He said, in agreement with other people, all we feel granted, and all we feel trained, and all we feel cautious. You know that's something to my heart that day, and the Lord knows I've never forgotten. You shall gently leave. You shall gently leave those that are with young. And I do want to say to all my beloved brethren here tonight, in all our greetings with Peter, to whom you need to be rich, to whom you need to be on time. To whom you need to be on time. To whom you need to be on time. To whom you need to be on time. To whom you need to be kind, ungentle, uncoordial, I follow the example of the Greek shepherd himself who shall gently lead, who shall gently lead those who ever drunk. So here we find the full full ministry of the Greek Shepherd. First of all, it's a food and medicine. And then second, then it's a ministry of gathering together, gather the land of the time. And then thirdly, it's a ministry of comfort and funnier, so it's a ministry of gentle light. So God bless his word at each end of our hearts, please. How do we pray? I'm a God in silence. Again, we're going out to be in the name of the Lord Jesus. We do thank you for the Lord himself. The one who is a deep shepherd of the sheep, the one who gave his life for us upon some of his cross. We thank you that he was going to be just to himself, brought into that flock. And we thank you. Our hand was one, but we're going to keep him safe and safe. To do so, we will just never say that he had when he was here upon earth, and he characterized us too, and that in all our deeds, with himself, and with those that we come in contact with from day to day, that we may manifest those verses and verses that were in the person of our beloved Lord. He asked it in his own wording, please. Amen. Now, please.
